  1. Yeah I think it's quite surprising reading this, he's a good player and I wouldn't back us to bring in better for £20m. 7g 3a in 23 starts 21/22 9g 5a in 30 starts 20/21 They're not bad numbers and he's still young. Make the bloke spend all Summer practicing his finishing cause he's pretty good all round elsewhere.
  2. Getting rid of our only decent Prem level striker certainly doesn't seem the play.
  3. Huge Nixon/Sun tax on this one, but it'd be a good signing at least! I know we wanted him when he was at Celtic. https://www.the-sun.com/sport/football/premier-league/5740633/southampton-celtic-moussa-dembele-lyon/amp/
  4. He isn't overrated at all, what do some of you watch every week? He won't be far off a big move, and City wouldn't surprise me given how he's played against them. Unfortunately I've heard contract talks were proving difficult as his team are after a reasonably low release clause to renew.
  5. I imagine so, been a few rumours that Perraud's injury is worse than we thought hasn't there.
  6. I mean outward for those three wingers, other than the soft Walcott to MLS links.
  7. I absolutely agree we need a quick winger coming in, but can't really see it unless we shift 2 of Djenepo, Walcott & Redmond, and we haven't really had any links on that front.
  8. £6m rising to £10m I assume, very little outlay.
  9. Not saying either of you are right, but a contrast opinion from the Rangers forum just now - "£10m for Joe Aribo should see the fraud squad phoned in because that is day light robbery. We got him as raw potential for a steal. Looks like someones getting him as a fully developed top European footballer for a steal." https://www.followfollow.com/forum/threads/joe-aribo-has-not-turned-down-a-new-rangers-contract.212134/page-6
  10. Wheatley is an absolute clown, tried to jump the gun to gain credibility but hopefully ruined his career instead. "Apologies for any confusion caused" by my complete lie.
  11. Apparently Aribo has one of the best first touches in football, so quite a distance away from Djenepo I'd say.
  12. Get a grip haha.
  13. Because he’s not played there? Are you alright? I used the word overly for a reason, go have a drink or something.
  14. Because I’ve spoken to two people who watch him play and he doesn’t play there? He’s either played directly off the striker or in midfield.
  15. Tenuous link to Aribo, both my Rangers supporting and Nigerian mates both think he’s absolutely quality. Played the most minutes in Europe last year I believe. A player who doesn’t overly seem to suit the 4-2-2-2 however, so I wonder if we are exploring a formation change this year.
  16. Delap screams of Broja just without the Eredivisie year. I can't see us spending £20m+ on a 6'7 striker with our current system, for sure.
  17. Damn, lovely from Delap.
  18. Oh wow didn't notice. Signed another year on loan this afternoon.
  19. Really hope there's something in this one! Seems a no brainer if we're able to get it over the line.
  20. SecretScout is about as reliable as it gets on there as a freelancer.
  21. I do wish other players had the same level of commitment/effort that he's shown us. Was it Everton last year where he chased down a ball in the last 30 seconds and turned round to hype up the crowd? A player I'll always look back on fondly, but obviously also glad that his 60k~ a week is off the books.
  22. Wonder if that's a new CHO link, or just talking about the other two generally. I'd love it to happen, but his 120k wages would definitely be a blocker.
  23. I'd be... content with adding Delap as our Broja replacement and having the front three of Che/Armstrong/Delap. I think we then absolutely need to add one quick winger, preferably one capable of playing up top (similar to Redmond, just... better). I'd be very disappointed/surprised with any less than two attacking signings, and would definitely feel much more comfortable with 3 if we end up losing Long/Djenepo etc, even though they had limited minutes. I feel like it has to be one of Armstrong/Elyounoussi AND a quicker, direct player as our two players behind the striker. We look absolutely terrible with both of them starting together. I am happy with how things are shaping up early on, but I am extremely worried about how much work needs to be done with that front four. I think Che/Stu are our only attackers of a good quality.
  24. He could be absolutely garbage but he'd still be getting around £1.3m over a presumed 4 year contract regardless of how his career goes. It's a tough one because there is certainly more of a pathway into the team here but I can see why he'd do it.
  25. Bringing Delap and Colwill back home.
