West Ham are buying Areola I believe. Doesn't look like there's a whole host of options for Pope around, but then again does anyone really see us forking out money for a player without any resale value?

I don't mind having Redmond or Elyounoussi around as options if we can't get a fee for them this Summer. I’m not even too sure sadly! Fulham and Bournemouth coming up have both spent more than we have on a player. I do agree though, however I feel like he may end up at the Leicester/West Ham level rather than us.

Yep. Even if they don’t go up I think he may be out our reach. Not financially due to the contract, but I imagine somebody more attractive coming in for sure.

Jack Rosser tends to be okay with us, even if he is currently associated with The Sun. Liam Delap makes sense with Haaland/Alvarez joining, being from Winchester as well.

I actually fully believe it's a great strategy for a club like ours, and I wouldn't call Adams a failure in any sense. Best of the non-promoted Championship sides will always be a strategy I'd support us going for. Johnson and Worrall from Forest for example.

Yeah I completely agree. I also think we’d have almost all taken 40 points before the season started after we lost Ings. I’m sure you could spread our point total out in a different way which wouldn’t have led to this moment.

I get that, but I think it’s very harsh to describe his tenure as a failure. I think it could be time to move on but I don’t begrudge him whatsoever of how he’s kept us up without much fuss with the limitations we’ve put on ourselves.

Disappointed if this is the end as I think he's had a horrible deal of it during his tenure here. I think it'd be a shame to part ways just as things are looking more positive from a financial aspect. Unfortunately though it's just been dire for months now, hard to fight his corner much further.

I think you could make a decent argument for Che, but wouldn't begrudge anyone disputing that with his one sitter missed per game average.
