The Sun's stance is like NC's pointless. NC must know if he backs down and scraps this then the sun will give it "The sun won it" as they do about everything. We are an easy target as we dont have the massive fanbase to annoy, would they do it to one of the prem's big 4, no i dont think so. I think this may rumble on for a while as NC doesn't seem the sort to back down, and the sun are enjoying having a pop at our expense. Maybe a chant of "2-0 to the south coast club" might head off the away support at the pass!!

Why does everything have to be put into a pro NC or bash NC, we are talking about the lack of home shirts days before the season starts, that in anyones mind cant be good, so yes someone somewhere SFC or umbro needs to be taken to task on this. If the order was placed right away, ie day of release then that is 7 weeks ago and umbro aim to deliver within 6 weeks, as told to me by SFC megastore worker walking around with clipboard/folder looking important, why are we still waiting for the shirts. As others have been told what appears weeks ago that it will be arriving in 6 weeks and i was told 6-8 weeks, then do the maths something isn't right with either SFC or umbro, one is to blame as there is no one else in the circle of 2 is there. I dont consider myself anti NC/AP/SFC, NC has done things i dont like ie installment plan removal, but has done things i like, I think it is good that we have a successful business man in charge, things did need shaken up. My point here is anyone can have opinion without it being placed into a pro or anti NC corner. The only thing i am very pro is SFC and always will be. I wear my shirt with pride and would wear my sash with pride if i could get one!!

Home kit been on sale for 7 weeks already and i was told saturday it would be "hopefully" 6-8 weeks for new stock to arrive as umbro aim to deliver within 6 weeks so something somewhere doesn't add up Also here we are again with this forum, why i cant be arsed to post, you have a comment to make and someone jumps on you straight away, i go i what i have been told, wow another rumour i suppose so if its a rumour it cant be true People should grow up and allow others to express an opinion or make a comment without being insulted

I was going to get my son one on saturday and was amazed to read the signs on the megastore saying that "certain sizes" (ie the large, XL, XXL) were out of stock. I found it amazing that after the hype of the new shirt we didn't have enough to sell at the first home game of the season, once they realised how well it was selling ie after the first day!! they should have got the order in. Think as you say someone screwed up big style, but have to say it was fantastic to see so many of them on saturday and im guessing even more on show this saturday, after first not being keen on the sash, it has grown on me and now i have to say I like it.

A new Saints Fanzine for SFC - on sale (v Reading)
fareham saint phil replied to redandwhitebill's topic in The Saints
Couldn't find anyone selling it before the game but walking out there was someone on the road back towards Ocean Village so happily got one. 1) Think you need to be more specific where you are going to be and maybe times you are there, then people can make a detour to get one, more places the better! 2) Love the ex players bit and would be nice to expand on them, "where are they now" are always a good read and a Saintly England brought back memories (no not CB Fry) 3) 20 questions were way too easy but proved the grey matter is still working 4) Not enough "terrace humour" or is it gutter humour?, maybe not wanting to offend etc, but i hear worse from my 15 yr old, so maybe a "guest fan section recalling memories from matches, best away trip etc etc 5) Will you have "match reports" in future issues? Have to say i enjoyed it, Shame i didnt get it before the match, plenty of effort put into it and worth a read by all, good luck i hope it pays off for you all -
half time and im officially worried at jaidi's lack of pace, also is it just me or has AOC beefed up from last season. dickson barnard and connolly have looked good

A Big Thanks to Papa and Antonio as well.
fareham saint phil replied to ericofarabia's topic in The Saints
Have to say, minority i know, but i thought Antonio was a lazy **** who only every seemed bothered 25% of the time, I never thought you could play him and JP in the same team and i think reading will try to take the **** with the fee and i think AP will end up telling them to go **** themselves. As for Papa, he changed games fair enough, but was never consistant enough for me, I think we can buy better replacements for both. -
He is classed as a legend up in Dundee, after taking them to their first scottish cup final victory, and he was only with them a couple of years, even the kids there know who he is. He's told Celtic hes the man for their job!! confidence for you

The Family cat - Steamroller, and we could all sing along with "and the Saints are playing at home today"!!!

Pardew and board to meet Thursday now...?
fareham saint phil replied to saint lard's topic in The Saints
Bet Pardew will be our manager next week next year and a few to come, NC is not a successful business man for nothing, he knows how to run a business and thats what Saints are to him, AP is the best man for the job now, with the players still training etc the meeting will be to set down guidelines for next season, transfer budget, who we are keeping letting go etc, mountain out of molehill me thinks -
Oh yeah the hottest summer ever, remember it so well, dont remember the ladybirds just bloody wasps!! Summers day at Wembley, best footballing memory ever, what a day what an occasion, young and happy, cant ask for more RIP Bobby and Ossie, sure there will be loads of Saints fans saluting you both today. Happiest and saddest Bobby memory was meeting and chatting to him in that poxy cafe on portsmouth harbour, so happy to see him but so sad as well.

Phew thank god for that, i can rest easy now for next season

Thought it was a foul so should have been a penalty, but as this thread was about Hartes freekick have to say it was a beauty and both me and my son applauded, something i very very rarely do to an "away" goal. But sometimes you just got to appreciate class!!
