First priority should be taking Seaborne off though, Vassell seems to be getting behind him at will
-
Take off Seaborne and Guly bring on Martin and De Ridder.
-
Commentary makes it sound like Guly is having a shocker too. Poor passing and not tracking back.
-
Sound dreadful apart from Lallana tbh

Ok lads songs for Waghorn anyone? His wiki proved he was no good, waghorn, waghorn Rather have Jay Rod we would, waghorn, waghorn We got the boy from sven's reserves, give him more stick than he deserves Martyn Waghorn, Southampton's number 10 (insert actual squad number) Na na na na Waghorn
-
At this point I'd rather NA went into the loan market until Jan and tried for permanent options during the transfer window rather than rushing through deals for players that may well be his fourth or fifth choice simply to fill a gap in the squad.
-
He's made his choice, we move on. If the club want to compete with the West Hams of this league who are willing to risk going into admin or worse by spending their way to promotion, we'd have to start throwing about silly wages and it's just not worth it. Especially when it comes to unproven players like Baldock.

Either my browser is playing up or he deleted this tweet, I know it was there but now it's gone. Perhaps the sources at talk**** aren't so hot lol
-
I too read football-rumours when I'm bored, perhaps a future as a twitter ITK beckons!
-
All this indecisiveness about a new CB, going to end up with nobody or someone Adkins didn't really want if the club drags their heels.
-
Now you mention agent talk, I remember reading somewhere that Fontaine only had a year left on his contract
-
-
Not sure NC and NA have made the right choice here if the defender we have turned to is Fontaine.
-
Fourth official has some good info but he does take some stuff tweeted to him a little bit too personally

Conolly's injury record must also concern Adkins as will Barnard's impending court case. Perhaps it's Barnard that he is concerned may not be able to step up if required. From those twitter ITKs they did seem to imply Maynard and Jay Rod wasn't an either/or situation, they wanted both so two strikers may have always been NA's intention. Also, in today's Echo it says that Waghorn was offered to Bristol City as part of a bid for Maynard earlier in the summer, but Waghorn refused to cooperate as he wants to fight for his place at LCFC.
-
May not be the name that excites the fans like Rodriguez or Maynard, but would still be a good bit of business IMO He did well on a season long loan scoring 12 in 43, which shows promise considering he was only 19/20 at the time. Then Pearson signed him permanently only to be sacked a cuple of months later in favour of Sven, who was intent on bringing in his own players and renewing his love affair with Darius Vassell. The 4 in 30 last season is misleading because the majority of his appearances were off the bench. So he's Young, has potential with a point to prove. Seems like an Adkins signing to me.
-
Waghorn was rumoured a while back, around the time those twitter ITKs started talking up Saints movement in the transfer market. Would be a decent signing IMO, did well when he first joined Leicester, probably suffered due to Sven's obsession with big names and players who were good in the champ 2 or 3 years ago. He's only 21, so at that age there is potential for improvement.
-
just saw the tweet, exactly the same wording as the rumour posted on football-rumours.co.uk.
-
i saw this on that football-rumours site, don't really know why we would bother with a season long loan tbh, well not for a player like matt killgallon that we should surely be able to sign permanently if NA thought he was good enough to play for us.
-
is Parker in the last year of a contract or something? Don't think they'll get far with 4m
-
Even so, they have brought in 2 (3 if Baxter joins them) strikers in a very short space of time, seems like they are quickly moving to replace more than the one player.
-
mind you skates seem fairly sure he's joining them, could be agent talk to pressure Pompey into offering better terms?
-
would have thought huseklepp would be above playing in the npc, especially for a team with no hope of promotion like portsmouth
-
Whats better? unproven in the prem, or proven not good enough for the prem?
-
i think that was someone falsely attributing stuff to him. he Retweeted a message saying the rumour that was being credited to him was Saints, Newcastle and Ipswich all preparing 7.5m bids for rodriguez
