He's been a **** in recent times to be sure, however if Adkins and the club have put the problems of the past behind them and wish to start playing him then the fans should give him a chance when he's out there playing and hope he gives his best, since his best is very good at this level. I don't think the club would hang about in taking back him out of the team if he half asses it.

I don't think anything at all can be taken from last night with Falque. Felt bad for him more than anything, the few times he got the ball he looked like a player who likes to keep it on the deck and play. The rest of the side looked like they wanted to play hoof-ball, which will make it hard for him to showcase what he can bring to the team. Still would have kept him on over Holmes, who seemingly can't keep the ball past his first touch.

To be fair his transfer comments come across more that the performance won't make him bring in any more than he thinks they need, not that he is happy to go forward without additions.

looking at the window as a whole this has been the case for the majority of teams across all leagues. However I don't see why NA would bother trotting out the we do our business in private line if the club weren't still making the effort to bring players in.

Agree, booing the team off the pitch achieves nothing but create an awkward and intimidating atmosphere for the players that will harm their performance levels in the long run.

When Lambert doesn't play the one dimensional nature of our play is truly exposed since most of our best moves happen when he gets the ball, holds it up and brings the others into play. Guly and Connolly are not able to do this so our gameplan goes to sh*t

Harding, Holmes and Martin were particularly dire tonight. Holmes in particular should have played his last game here after that, not produced a worthwhile performance for years.

Say what you want about who isn't on the pitch, but the players selected are capable of much, much better than the dross served up tonight.
