Agree with this. A player must be better if possible. A squad of the same becomes just bloated and will get us nowhere. It will just be like the dark days of Luggy, Wiggley etc.

That is either a good cover or pretty much as it is. I would imagine the club is being backed by the owners but the remit is also that it learns to stand on its own two feet. We are going to reach the promised land in a sustainable way and i think that this was the plan from the outset. We are not going a Wham, hence the fairly modest outlay in the summer. No, this summer is about consolidation, we have a plan and we won't swerve from it. This was how I saw it back in June and why I made my comments known.

Hang on, I am no more repetitive than other posters. I think it is more the case that my opinion doesn't fit well with others. Another example is my views on the 2004 Glenn Hoddle issue. I understand that people have a different take on the issue, but why shouldn't the issue be repeated, it is still relevant.
