I said at the start of this saga that I would self destruct if we bought Hooper. I am still sitting comfortably and feeling very relaxed.

I made a similar point recently. If WHAM carry on the way they do there is a serious chance of another club who should not only have points deducted but should also go bankrupt !

OK for your benefit I will make it a bit more simple. I could go down to the local Porsche dealer and say I am going to spend £150,000 on a car. Now the dealer might take me seriously but probably he won't know for sure until I actually revela the money and the deal goes through. We can all idly speculate, but then a lot of people do that and many are not really serious. Now, as for Saints, if we do spend the money and secure Hooper for £6m+ then we will be noticed and taken seriously. But until we actually spend the cash no one will take idle speculation seriously.

As someone said 'it is **** or bust' for them. Quite frankly it is ridiculous and the Football authorities are to some extent to blame for not allowing the likes of Pompey to go bust and making an example !

Agreed. If we did that it would totally destroy any credibility that the management had unless we bought Rooney from Man U or some other such player.

No, I am most often right. It is just that i make bold and assertive statements that do sometimes go wrong. Rather that than running with the crowd and blowing with the wind like some of the bland posters on this forum, honestly they have more characteristics of the glory hunter than they might imagine.

That is a good story, just read it again. I have to say, one of the nice things about League 1 was meeting fans who stuck with their teams through thick and thin, mostly thin. It would be so easy to be a glory hunter. i have a great deal of respect for them and often they are very knowledgeable.

Odd ? Are you implying that there is a problem in Lee's signing ? Maybe NA thinks there is no urgency and that we are good enough to beat Leicester with the players available. I don't sense any urgency from NA's interviews.

You have made a good point but I don't see that you have in any way given evidence that challenges my statement. BTW Norwich may have been lower in the league this time last year but most importantly they finished strongly and appear to be doing well this season. I can only hope that we are in a similar position, or better in 12 months time. Time will tell !

Don't know what the problem is. When i say obsessed, maybe a bit strong. Having said that I always rate the Daleks as being by far the greatest ever aliens and all other Doctor Who enemies are insignificant. I have collected all sorts of Dalek stuff over the years and used to belong to DWAS until Dr Who became popular.

Yes and why not ! I'm a bit obsessed with Daleks and have been for decades. I am not interested in aliens only Daleks. Whe I was alad I think I was the only one that was disappointed when the Daleks lost. Now, the Dalek in the background looks to me like one of the film Daleks, unusual colouring, probably not authentic but the lights do. I need to see the base to properly date it. Of course in the 60's there was a travelling dalek exhibition that visited big dept stores. I remember meeting one, of the Daleks and it shook my hand, so to speak. Made a lasting impression. Any saints who are Dalek fans ?
