Most people know my view on the hoddle saga, however, in the next few weeks the true plight of SFC will become apparent. This is the time for us to put aside our differences, to close ranks and fight for our club.

No, he is doing his best to preserve what little morale is left in his young team. IMO the team is shattered, we are on the verge of going bankrupt and we have no option but to trudge warily on this road right to the end. Yes it is frustrating, yes we should never have got to this position. But we are where we are, and in the next few weeks we are all going to have to stand together,united, as the storm hits us and batters us. SFC is going to need support like it has never needed it before. I will support SFC not Rupert, I will support SFC because of its proud past and traditions. We may well be battered and bruised, but together we will survive and together SFC will rise from the ashes !

Heard Billy Davies on 5 live today. He sounded chirpy confident and enthuisiastic. Straight talking and no nonsense and with clarity. I can see why he wins in the dressing room and i can see why people want to play for him. Here is a man with that unique factor.. presence aka Shankly, Clough, Fiergie, WGS I reckon Forest will be pushing for promotion next year.

He is a young inexperienced player, like many others. The club is asking to much of them and they are out of their depth. I'm pretty sure that confidence is shattered and all the good work of the academy is being decimated. I only hope that our youngsters survive this season as many of their careers could be ruined. I actually fel sorry for the youngsters as there is nothing worse than feeling helpless to change things and gettting a constant barrage of criticism. RL should do something about this but the club are on the verge of bankruptcy. As fans we must all pull together because things are going to get worse and our youngsters are going to have to try and avoid us going int League 2 next season.

I'm afraid i agree with Stanley, our team would struggle in League 1 IMO. Our only hope is some private individual bails the club out and pumps in few million.

I feel sorry for our young players. They are out of their depth and getting beaten every week is bound to affect morale. These young players should have been introduced inot a more experienced team. Actually, we could be ruining theri careers .

Where is the PASSION !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????????????? I heard Billy Davies on FIVE live today. He has got it and you can see how he translates that to the players. At the moment we have a STERILE manager and we play STERILE football ! There has been NO PASSION in the side since WGS leeft and that is what we need !!!!

Billy Davies was on 5 live at HT. Just felt the man had something special about him in the way he was upbeat and chipping in with wisecrack comments, a bit like WGS. You could understand how he would hold the dressing room and motivate. we should have got him to SFC at least.

I was listening on 5 live and the word used again and again was 'frightening' ie for Southampton. Still, losing to Manu, no shame there. The real tragedy is what is happening in the league. Also, Ian Holloway made a good point as to whether being beaten every week is actually going to damage the young players. Confidence wise, I would say yes.

Why would MLT want to become a manager when he can be a TV pundit ? MLT however, does speak as he sees things and has a unique role as someone who has been an insider. The whole situation in the club is so complicated at board level with most people carrying baggage or tarnished in some way or another that we probably do need a clean sweep. If we get relegated i think this will happen naturally. In the meantime we will have to see if Lowe's plan works, it looks bleak at the moment but it migh work yet.

Seems like a vocal minority of Nottingham fans dislike the appoijntment of BD, but the board are sticking by his appointment for the good of the club. Watch the opposition melt away as Forest climb the league. Wish our chairman and board had the guts to do what was right for the club in 2004 and appoint Hoddle instead of being swayed by the mouthy few.

The bickering started after WGS left and the fans are to blame as much as anyone, esprcially a vocal minority who have always had their own agenda at the unwitting expense of the club.

Sundance speaks a lot of sense. Stick with JP until the end of the season, if he fails try and persuade Glenn Hoddle to start the rebuild in League 1 09/10

After the Cup game. I think a lot will happen then. We will sell, sell sell. Preparing to go down but staving off admin. JP will survive but i think Glenn Hoddle will be employed as we start in Div 1 with a very young team.

As relegation becomes a reality expect the price to plummet further. I know it is obvious but there it is.

The most important thing is to stave off aministration. If we go down to League 1 so be it. Administration must be avoided. When we are in League 1 , get in Glenn Hoddle to build a team and get us up the leagues like he did at Swindon.

Brstol City would be a much bigger force without Rovers splitting the Bristol fanbase.
