  1. The Burnley game is way more important than the Cup game. We need 3 points, plus the fact that Norwich are likely to play a very weakened team so we can do likewise.
  2. Good win. Pity it was not worth 3 points
  3. FT. Good win !
  4. Very long 4 minutes....
  5. 4 mins of Klopp time
  6. Hanging on now !
  7. Hmmmmmm...
  8. What do I know ?
  9. We are defeatist. No danger of scoring !
  10. Good news
  11. A very under rated and often forgotten manager. He was a great servant to the Club and the team played good football. Never should have been sacked at the time IMO.
  12. Here here. No need for the abuse advocated by the poster. Mods ?
  13. Less of that in the ranks.
  14. I relax once we reach 40 points. That is the only objective that matters to me every year. If we stayed up for the next 30 years on 40 points I would be happy. Even if we got knocked out of the Cups every first round and finished between 17th and 15th.
  15. I would be happy to stay in the Premier League at this rate.
  16. It's all a load of propaganda aimed at keeping the suporters happy. The real ambition is simply to stay in the Premier League, with the minimum outlay, for as long as the PL money keeps rolling in.
  17. Sturrock had lost the dressing room before he even walked into it. The players wanted Hoddle and the club needed his experiences. Some on the Board got cold feet because of the noisy but unrepresentative protest by the noisy minority.
  18. Ah... now there's a thought.
  19. I have been warning about the 'complacency' creeping into the club for the last two years. It is why we are inn a mess now.
  20. Post of the week !!!!!!!!
  21. BTW, Norwich have a really good striker who scored a hatrick today. Worth a bid.
  22. I can see Norwich winning this game.
  23. I totally agree. In a way last seasons high league finish allowed complacency to set in.
  24. 1. We have lost Wanyama, Mane and Pelle and have not replaced them or replaced them with inferior players. 2. We took a gamble on Jay Rod and it has not worked. 3. We took a massive gamble on Charlie Austin staying fit - it has not worked. 4. We too a gamble on Puel - who plays a tactical game that may work in France but not in English football. In all, I think The Board and Les Reed have been guilt of gross complacency and now we are in trouble. If we do NOT get in a few really good players in January we could well be fighting to stay up. I would take 17th now !
  25. A 'fish like' goalkeeper as well.
