  1. LOL.......Silvestre, the answer to all our "problems"

A bit like you were advocating in the Hillsborough thread? Troll
  3. Far too early to be talking about must win games IMO....still a long long way to go whatever happens this weekend. More importantly, we have to keep playing the way we want to play and enter games with the same mentality as we did against City and Utd. If we can maintain similar levels of performance we will wins games, it's just a matter of time IMO. And as disappointing as Wigan was, Wigan are not a bad side and carried momentum over from last season when they beat Utd and Arsenal. On another day, that could have been a fairly comfortable win without having to change too much. We have new quality signings to come in still and a really strong and dynamic looking midfield and Lambert will score goals. Still much to look forward to IMO
  4. I've got a mate who can do it. He's staying in the Lymington hotel and having an iced tea as we speak. I will give him a call now
  5. When have I had a pop at Turkish about sarcasm? Weirdo
  6. This is a good point and I agree. If we leave it to Cortese, the team will be full of Carlos Mbia Wong types who can't cut it in England. Leave it to Adkins and you end up with Forte and Nguessen up front. A Harry Basset or Ron Atkinson advisor would be ideal for us.
  7. I'd agree with this and the Deldago alarms bells were ringing through my head when I saw him against Utd. He's proof if you ever need it that Africans can't cut it at this level. Can he handle stoke on a cold Tuesday night? I doubt it. Sorry Cortese, stick to football manager on your PC and let football people make our signings.
  8. Haha, quality, probably about sums it all up
  9. What I don't understand is why there are so many "if only you all knew" comments about how terribly NC treats everyone, yet know one actually says anything! Le tiss tweet last night about if only people knew about what NC had done to the legends like he's been grooming them and abusing them but too afraid to say. Why not just say? Same with posters on here....little cryptic messages and snipes. Why not just come out and ****ing say? What's going to happen if you do? NC going to have a hitman track you down?
  10. Clearly an Adkins choice and not a Cortese one. It's a shame.... We could have bought 7 Gulys with that money
  11. Take away someone's free booze and food and this is what happens.
  12. Nasty Nicola will have this kid coming off the bench against Arsenal no doubt. We need a stronger willed manager who will stand up for what's right for the team but unfortunately can only ever see yes men like Adkins or even Steve Kean being here under NC. Pardew was a man of principle and we all saw what happened to him. I won't be watching Soccer Saturday next week as I won't be able to handle the embarrassment of hearing Merson laugh at us for spending time and money on a kid who has only had a kick about on a boggy Christchurch pitch. FFS.
  13. Love or hate!?
  14. Can you please share your crystal ball with the rest of us when you're done!? Sharp had done absolutely nothing at all when he came off the bench against City and Wigan. He barely touched the ball. Why would he come on against Utd and suddenly worry Ferdinand and Vidic? As others have stated Sharp seems a good man and is a great poacher but his all round game is too slow and be isn't much of a physical presence to be a threat to most prem teams. He needs service and doesn't create for himself. When your team in pegged back and aren't getting the ball, how is Sharp supposed to be this amazing impact player people are making him out to be?
  15. You could literally feel the air being sucked out of the Dell every time Benali got the ball when under pressure or attempted a back pass to the keeper. Those were the days!
  16. I know nothing of what went on or what was going on behind the scenes but if you were an outsider looking in, this would be a reasonable pointer as to where certain agendas arise from......
  17. Dunno, you tell us.....you're ITK aren't you!? : )
  18. he's more travelled, more educated and has a more hollistic overview of world football then most. He wouldn't be an obstacle at all. He's already monitoring Ward-Prowse and has him on his radar accoring to Neville. No way would Capello even be aware of his exisitence at this stage of hie career by comparison
  19. I still maintain that this type of statement is an over reaction. You'd think we have Richard Dryden at the back the way people have been banging on about Fonte!
  20. How did you come to this conclusion?!
  21. Who is advising Cortese though? I can't imagine he's scouting out players like Yoshida by himself...
  22. I'll look forward to that day then. Getting the old doc martins out now ready to stick it in.
  23. Lol, I can see why, he's done such an appaling job over the last 3 years
  24. Why do they want him gone?
