I'm not being paranoid and I agree with you that what we are talking about here isn't exactly going to bring the club to it's knees. I'm just talking specifically about how our clubs perception at Sky and in particular that specific show has changed. MLT's role there has contributed towards negative coverage of the club over the last 2 years and I don't think anyone can dispute that. The main difference of opinion as far as I can see is that some will think that NC shouldn't have done X Y and Z, whilst others think that MLT shouldn't use his position at Sky to peddle a personal issue he has with NC. Nothing to do with being paranoid or blindly loving NC, just a viewpoint on the situation.

The impact it has is more about perception than anything else. Saturday was a case in point on Sky Sports. Despite the fact that we had just smashed our record transfer fee on one of Europe's most highly rated younf players, all the Sky Sports panel did was scoff at our transfers and ask if the Echo is still banned. Hardly great exposure for the club and is just one such example.

According to Docker-P, any CEO can do it.
-
Yea true he can play as 1 of the 2 which flank Scheiderlin but he probably the one you'd want to play Morgans role when required. With him back, I think our midfield looks very strong

Peter Sillet should be a shout at CB?
-
It really is the Sydney fans very own Ramirez saga with the Italian clown journos changing tune every 5 seconds

Its important to have Cork back as a DCM, he's not the answer at CB! Barca can get away with it as they have the majority of possession, not something we will enjoy in a lot of our matches. Also, teams in Spain are not as direct as teams in England and Cork isn't a physical enough of a presence to handle that either. I believe Cork should be in contention come the Arsenal game or soon after

It wasn't a nice dream for some, they would rather Danny Gabbion instead!

I agree, excellent post and sums up where the danger consistently came from on Sunday. I would say however that Fonte and Hooiveld are way too far apart in his diagram ; )

Who would be your all time CEO?
-
he gone on strike and is in Uruguay. Unhappy that tdd is suggesting he's dropped for Puncheon.

And if I remember correctly, this place was full of people saying that we still have the best sides in the division to play, we're only an injury or two away from the wheels coming off, should have done better in the transfer market, it won't last etc etc....... just shows that a lot of **** spouted off on here is often not close to the truth at all, despite how highly some rate their own opinions....quite comforting actually : )

Hopefully this is unconfirmed as the mighty Southampton FC have put the cat amongst the pigeons. Or Liverpool, whatever.

Hmmmm, don't disagree that he had a good season but I have to agree with JPT and say that Richardsons short comings would be exposed in the prem, same as Fox. Neither really get tight enough and Richardson wouldnt be as effective going forwards IMO as he is a bit of a 1 trick pony. Think he'd get found out quickly

I was asking if it's a consideration. He was hosptialised soon after the game, may not have been 100%. Never said it was evidence that he's better than anyone

Seeing these Italian Journo names pop up again is making me break into a cold sweat....is it two weeks ago again?!
-
I think people see what you write...

Keep the faith, remember that the premier league is average ; )

He was hospitalised through illness soon after this game. Do you not think that this may have contributed a little towards his average display? edit: refering to Shaw v Stevenage

tdd takes the mantle as the one of the first bottlers of the 12/13 season. Shame on you tdd.
-
some people it seems will never get this. When he signs for Sydney officially, there will be a chorus of "good, we need defenders more than attackers" or "at least we can focus on strengthening the defence now" .............

Did you imagine Skertl ****ing up against West Brom or Ferdinand leaving Lambert at the back post against Rafael against us or James Collins ridiculous back pass the other day? Or maybe Lescotts terrible header against QPR last game of the season? The answer is of course no, it all happened and will contine to do so. He slipped/was fouled against Wigan and then sliced a clearance and didn't get close enough to RVP. Is he really ready for our SWF scrap heap already? I think his overall game has been ok so far.
-
We just didn't play well enough 2nd half against Wigan. The goal changed the game and our switch to a more attacking formation only played into their hands. Mainly because our attacking personnel that day wasn't up to it. We have much better options now though. I think we'll do well given some time
