Exactly. Accrington Stanley having an academy won't make a blind bit of difference to how the national team performs.

It will be about quality over quantity. Surely all of the clubs with category 1,2 and 3 facilities and set up's should be able to produce enough players for the national team.

He's done a decent job for us and was an ever present for us in our L1 promotion campaign. He played with a lot of passion and energy and was nearly always an outlet for us to play out from the back. His biggest weakness was always his defending a ball at the back post but other than that thought we was pretty solid. Good luck to him wherever he goes.

Yes I would. Just mentioned Shaw because the Buttner broke down around the same time Shaw signed his pro contract after turning 17 so wouldn't have been that unlikely I don't think.

I'm assuming I was in the "certain posters" as I was one of only a couple mentioning Shaw at the time and we went back and forth a bit about it. It would have made sense if you were referring to me.
