Crikey, we're odds-on with the bookies by some margin. Didn't expect us to be such heavy favourites!

Threads like these betray what the Ramirez haters really think. If they thought he was a genuinely crap, talentless players, they wouldn't draw attention to the fact that he didn't have any impact in an away game with 20 minutes to go (although he did nothing wrong whatsoever).

There are a variety of first row proxies that work for me, although I don't know if its only me but there hasn't seemed to be many really good streams on their site for a while now. Certainly I remember the days when you could reliably get a decent quality stream off one of their links but nowadays they all seem fairly blurry

I was singing the praises of Maynor Figeuroa for a long time, especially after Wigan were relegated and he'd be very much an achievable target. Plus he's totally competent at centre-back. Now he's gone to Hull and we've missed our chance. Really poor stuff.

United. Just the hypocrisy of their plastic fans. These will be the same ones saying that there's too much money in football, but only on the basis that their dominance might be under threat, plus of course its come from television money fuelled by their countless armchair fans across the country and indeed the globe who tune in to Sky to support the world's biggest club. Manchester United are the Kanye West of football and have forever appealed to the same kind of ignorant fanboy.

Big industrial ****holes tend to be an ideal birthplace for starting and maintaining a successful football team, Southampton has two out of three I guess

Think we should persevere with Gaston, there is quite obviously a player there despite his inconsistency. Tore Villa apart, best player on the pitch against Everton and Arsenal. Does things that no-one else in the team can do but then at other times its like playing with 10 men. Worth giving it another season and seeing what he can do.

The best entrance music you've ever heard at a football game

Looks fantastic, what a tragedy those two great clubs have to play in that ridiculous half-empty bucket of a stadium. -
Wouldn't sell him for anything less than 20m.

Anyone received their season tickets by post yet

Still haven't received mine. Not at all concerned. -

Our season summed up overall... -
Same Same, Jack Cork Same Ramirez vs Villa (h) Same Same (didn't answer, no real laugh-out-loud moments of a slightly nervy season dodging the bottom 3.) West Brom Lukaku Couldn't care less

That actually a remarkably poor selection. Most Champo teams of the year come with at least 4-5 players who would cut it for a low mid-table Premiership team. I literally wouldn't want any of that lot.
-
Psh. S'obviously patently not the case, as in it is still unlikely that the 3rd bottom team will finish with (what will have to be) 40 points, but nevertheless you might well be right. Certainly if we still need points, and only have two games to get them, we're not safe.

I've just stuck a tenner on saints to get relegated

I'm personally looking at Norwich hoping that they can't beat West Brom next weekend. If they do fail to do so, then we'd just need City to beat them on the final day of the season for us to stay up without us getting another point. -

And now we're down to 20/1 -
Wanyama would be an excellent signing. Not Izaguirre though? Would have thought he'd have been part of the three. I'd like to see us put in a bid for Wilfried Bony as well.

They were taking the **** out of us and rightly so.

I think we need to have a little think about moving the away fans. The atmosphere at all of the games in which we haven't been winning has been woeful and we've been completely outsung. Since opposition fans are bringing 3000 to SMS there is no interaction between the Northam/Itchen North. Essentially the away fans split our two main bases of support rather than being drowned out in between them as was the original idea.

Morgan. Lambert has done OK this season but he DOES lack effort at times and does go missing in some games. Good player, NOT a leader. Morgan puts his mouth about but is a young guy, good enough player though to be able to tell people what to do with authority. Actually the debate on this issue should really hint at what kind of a player we need to sign in the summer, a proper leader at centre-half (A James Collins type player).

Morgan Schneiderlin, Tralalala -
The problem with Hooiveld is that when he (often) gets his body positioning wrong he always tackles with his left foot (which, by law of averages, is the wrong foot 50% of the time) The would-have-been-given-at-Old-Trafford 'penalty' at Reading and the free-kick against West Ham are perfect examples. In both he should have been tackling with his right foot.

Saints 2 Reading 0 - Post Match Reactions

We weren't even particularly great to be honest, but that was a doddle. Miracle Reading have as many points as they do IMO. -
I've defended Ramirez for a long time but I'm afraid today, he's had another shocker away from home.
