Horrific the way Podolski walked through our midfield
-
What Ramirez song was used?
-
Schneiderlin, Schneiderlin, we've got Morgan Schneiderlin Schneiderlin, Schneiderlin, we've got Morgan Schneiderlin Look out! *clap clap* here comes to the Schneiderlin! (spiderman tune) Nice and simple but still very original.
-
Its good since our fans don't look like idiots singing "come on you reds" to a team playing predominantly in white.
-
Sad that the poor lad was given such a ridiculously impossible job on his debut
-
Just to clarify guys it is SchneiderLAN rather than -LIN. I mean its hardly a terrible sin to get a foreign name slightly wrong but when it comes to getting a song for a player we do need to kinda make a collective decision on it whether its -lan or -lin. (I mean...it IS -lan but I wouldn't care too much if I were him...but meh...mays well get it right.)

Yup. Me and my mates were saying the same thing today. Would thoroughly deserve a call-up.

Yeah i'll bet you'll be at the game making some noise won't you. Furthermore you'll probably have a good old whine and whinge if our players sit back and admire United on the pitch as you're doubtless planning to do off it. I suppose singing "Have you got another kit" at half time when we were 3-0 up in '97 was lame as well? United away support might be the one of the most vocal in England (which is a bit like being the fastest man in the Paralympics when measured to the noise fans make in South America for instance) but they've still got a fanbase full of arrogant, hypocritical dickheads. Lets all be nice and quiet and let them **** all over us off the pitch and then complain when our players do the same on it eh? Obviously OWTS should ring out loud and clear as well. And I've made my position clear on singing Citeh/Liverpool songs. Supporting a local team isn't just about abusing United, its something to be proud of when we've been to League 1 and back, something that most United fans know sweet FA about.
-
Ah bull****. Like when they started getting in our faces after they did us when we were at the bottom of the champo/in League 1? United is a club that no longer represents Manchester in the slightest. Full of hypocrites from Surrey *****ing about the fact that theres too much money in football ONLY NOW that they are personally affected as their dominance of English football is under threat and they can't sit in their armchairs toasting a 6th successive title. The number of United "fans" who roll their eyes at anyone who supports their local team because after all, they themselves "realised when they were a kid my local club weren't going to win anything :D" sums up everything about United. Plastic as ****. No matter how noisy. They can go **** themselves. Bottom of League 1 or top 10 in the Premiership, Saints will always be Saints. Lets make a ****ing racket. (Having said all that, one thing I would be totally opposed to is singing Liverpool/City songs - that really is bloody awful) but singing about the fact we stick by our local team no matter what is fair game.
-
"We support our local team" and "**** off back to London" needs to be in full, deafening voice tomorrow.

Best so far. No-one else casually racist enough to attempt to sing the Lion King opening?

Emmanuel Mayuka - Officially Signed on OS - Work Permit Confirmed
Rasiak-9- replied to S-Clarke's topic in The Saints
Lambert/Rodriguez/Lee/Mayuka is a good four. Two target men and two skillful bags of pace. Sharp I'm afraid is going to struggle at Premiership level. He's just too much of an old school poacher that granted can tear up the c/ship but is just far too easy to defend against in the Prem. Kinda like my usernamesake really. -
How quick is Ramirez exactly? He seems like a skillful Kaka type player who's full of direct running but I can't really see him skinning full-backs. I mean, if he was up against say Figueroa against Wigan at the weekend I think he'd have struggled. I'd much rather see him as a dedicated attacking CMF driving through the middle and opening up space for Lallana/Lee on the wings with 1) through balls/flicks and tricks and 2) the threat of a good strike on goal. Factor number 2 as well should also help open space up for Rickie as at the moment teams can close him down way too easily, knowing that we don't have much of a threat from range (although nice to see Lallana having a go at the weekend - more of that please Adam!) but yeah I just don't really see Ramirez being as effective on the wing as driving through the middle for the above reasons.

Schneiderlin covered more ground on Saturday than any player in the Premier League. Check the opta stats. He does tackle, he nicks and intercepts the ball from his opponents and doesn't go to ground unless he really has to (which he is capable of doing if necessary) Morgan, like a lot of our players on Saturday, really didn't have a particularly poor game as an individual, they just got f*cked over by a ridiculous attempt at a 4-3-3 which managed to get the least out of literally every one of our players.
-
To the Beauty and the Beast tune "NOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo ooooooooOOOOOOne (gets the crowd going and gets people involved) ...Plays like Gaston ...No-one scores like Gaston." and you lot can make up the rest. We'll figure something out. Or maybe we'll sing "Come on you reds" When we play in white and then complain when our kit gets changed so we don't look like retards

Still playing Poker then Pap?

Top 3 most mental goal celebrations at a Saints Game
Rasiak-9- replied to JackanorySFC's topic in The Saints
My goal away at Derby was probably the most mental celebration. -
I'm not even going to dignify this with a reply. I'm just going to quote and bolden it and ask that you have a little think about what you've just said.

This is a massive misconception which is causing a lot of trouble and misunderstanding when it comes to religion. Essentially what you're saying is that no, religion isn't really the motivation for these atrocities, which it quite straightforwardly is. Going back to 9/11 just as an example. All 19 of the hijackers had degrees, 15 of them I believe had PHDs, Bin Laden was a Billionaire who gave up a life of luxury to live in a cave in Afghanistan turning his back on Saudi Arabia for letting kuffar too near the holy sites of Islam in the form of US military bases. Religion is the direct cause and motivation for a great many atrocities IF YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE IT (as many muslims unfortunately do) however politically correct you'd like to believe.

Guly had a ****ing good game today. He appears a little lazy because of his naturally languid, leggy stride. Lambert wouldn't have done anything more in the first half than Guly. We simply couldn't see enough of the ball to do anything. Bringing Lambert on as an impact sub worked brilliantly; City were taken by surprise and couldn't adjust to him quick enough. Lambert being on the bench will be the exception rather than the norm of course. Clever little tactics by Adkins which did pay off.
-
If 14/1 is an insult then you of course imply that the chances of us winning are lower than that. In which case it is great value. In which case you can confidently back us to win knowing you're getting a good price. ...but that would be money down the toilet because the chances of us winning are...
-
Because the rest of the time he's completely dour and miserable innit.

Simon Peach is literally adding nothing.
