If you have something constructive to talk about, and you make a thread about it, I will respond accordingly. And you ARE in denial. Answer this Alpine........ If supporting Southampton really brings you so much despair, as it obviously does, why don't you find something more fun to do? Being a Saints fan doesn't seem to bring you any happiness whatsoever, and there really isn't any point in doing something you don't enjoy (apart from work and pay taxes), so why don't you do something different? It obviously doesn't give you any joy, being a Saints fan, as all you do is pick negatives out of everything that happens......don't waste your life away. Spend some time with your family and concentrate on making them happy. Go out, and find a new hobby. Anything. What is the point in coming on here and spouting nonsense, just to have a whinge? Because negative, miserable and unhappy people all think that rich and successful people have been lucky. Because any success a negative person experiences comes through a "pleasant surprise", so if they see success in another person, they think they got lucky and had a whole heap of pleasant surprises. The truth is, if you believe you'll be successful, there's a much greater chance of it happening.

I went to Huddersfield away. Yep, we didn't play well in either of those games, but dwelling on it, and slitting our wrists over that isn't going to achieve anything.

You say it how you CHOOSE to see it. You could quite easily decide to find something positive to talk about, and concentrate on that. You'd feel better for it, and it'd be a hell of a lot more constructive.
