Yeah, £2300 - not too bad for a couple of days golf I suppose! Got my ugly mug on the website too! I'm tied 2nd, 1 shot behind this week in Reading too (one round to go tomorrow), although it's only a small field so first prize is only £1500. Could do with winning this one and maybe one more, so I can get out to the States this winter. I'll save that driver for a while if you think you might be interested when you start playing again.

Stevo, I won that tournament on Tuesday! About bloody time too!
-
I don't have anything that will stop you slicing it - in fact, you'd slice it more! Saint_stevo is right though - put your money towards lessons, and you'll find you don't need a new driver.

MLT, yep, I got your PM, I've been waiting til I've had time at home to sit down and have a good look at what I've got. I'm all over the place playing tournaments right now. Sorry I haven't got back to you sooner. Is there anything specifically you're after?

Not sure what I have to be honest. I know I have a couple of yes putters, although they're cut to 31", so they're quite short. They're properly weighted though. I had a couple of nice scotty camerons but sold them on eBay. I might have some others....I'm away at a tournament at the mo but I can check when I get back on Friday night

lol is he f u c k!!

Well I'm on at the same time as you, so maybe you're me? Or I'm you? Must be the Scottish water.
-
Cheers homie. Need to win this one and another couple so that I don't need to get a job this winter

What a load of b o l l o c k s!

Yeah, one more day tomorrow. There are 3 players on 7 under, so a quick start required. I went back to a few swing keys that I was given at the Butch Harmon school in Vegas and they're working a treat. I'm just aiming down the left side and hitting a drilled low fade - barely missed a shot today. Birdied all the par 5's. Wish I'd entered European Tour school now.
-
You should be able to relate to him well then! ;-) 6 under today at Studley Wood btw, 1 shot off the lead about bloody time.

In-n-out is the only fast food burger place worth eating at. Shame they're only California, Nevada and Arizona. But oh my god the burgers are heavenly.
-
Why, cuz they don't know they need wins already?! That's right, they are just going to carry on drawing and losing until the fans let them know they need to win.
-
That's fair....but 6 games in, we shouldn't even be discussing this!
-
Your simplistic view doesn't cut it. Sure, AF and WGS no doubt put a rocket up players' arses when required, but they don't tell them they're **** and they certainly would be able to identify whether the lack of performance was coming from a lack of effort or not. There was no lack of effort yesterday. It just didn't happen for us. The booing was out of order.
-
Utter nonsense. The players KNOW they need to start picking up points. They aren't completely stupid. They don't need the chavs in the northam to boo to tell them that. The kick up the backside method only works when they're not trying hard enough. There was nothing to suggest that any of the players weren't trying hard enough yesterday. So they didn't win. It happens. You idiots booed, now their confidence will be hit again. Like they were confident in the first place anyway....
-
I never said that. But telling them they're rubbish isn't going to make them better is it.
-
Ermm, stand up, walk out and turn up again next time and support the team again.
-
Yesterday wasn't lacklustre though, we just didn't win.
-
another new manager, that'll help!

I've been to every game apart from Stockport and Swindon this season, thanks. I take it from your post that you don't play sport professionally or to a competitive level. Because what you said is complete ******. Successful sports people perform their best when they have complete belief and trust in what they're doing. They do not RESPOND to booing and slagging off. Sure, if they do something wrong, a coach can tell them and they can correct it. But laying into them or booing them does nothing but put fear and doubt in their mind. So while you're trying to get your discontent across to the players, your theory that they'll perform better if you tell them they aren't doing it, is doing nothing but having a detrimental effect. Not only will they not play better next game, they may possibly get worse. I'm not saying say "there, there, everything will be fine" and to baby them, but by booing them, you're not going to make them perform any better. They may try harder, but trying harder doesn't make you play better if you also have fear and doubt in your mind. You can't boo them just because they fail to win anyway. It's a fact of life that in sport you lose or draw more than you win, unless you're one of the elite. I know, I know, you paid your money and you have the right to your opinion, but all you're doing is making the chance of wasting your money for the next game even greater.
-
You don't just think we're under performing either, you're looking for someone to blame, looking for excuses and reasons to complain. I know we're under performing, but I'm not whining about it because I'm prepared to give them more than 6 games.
-
Well firstly, the players have laptops. And just because "it doesn't make a difference" doesn't mean it's ok to be miserable and down beat and complain about everything. Positive vibes spread.
