Probably one of many targets we've looked at. Can't say I know anything about him though.
-
Now you've done it Ron. They'll be all over that in a flash.
-
I think it's just agent/player talk though. Not sure why Nixon is giving it air time.
-
Seems like we blocked any potential move Dickson has lined up.
-
That would soften the blow To be honest, I don't mind Dann. I think he's a player who has been put into a rubbish Blackburn team which is poorly coached. I think he'd add to what we have. Wouldn't moan about Dann at all.
-
Need to keep hold of him, unless we bring in some quick wide players. As much as he frustrates me, it would be frightening if we let him go without signing any additional pace.
-
If we end up with Dann and Goodwillie, Christ on a bike - this place will go into melt down...!
-
I don't expect many ''sales'' outwards, more loans - but they can and will happen after the window has closed anyway. Would expect some enquries for Deano and Chaplow. Kind of feel sorry for Dean, he's captained us all the way back to the top and is now pushed to the side for a 16 year old kid. (who is very good, mind you)
-
It's come from the player apparently, he says we've contacted his agent with regards to his availability.
-
It's a weird one, Nixon says this link has come from the player himself. He says we've contacted his agent with regards to his availability. Could just be tosh to build up interest, who knows. The guy can play on either flank or in behind as well, so would be the type of player we're after - albeit no where near the required quality.

The move for David Goodwilie may be on
-
According to Nixon, we have/are close to making a move for David Goodwillie. Should be easy, as Blackburn want rid. Seems every inch a panic buy, that one. (if it happens, of course).
-
If only it was that easy! What is certain though, is that we'd say goodbye to the likes of Morgan, Lallana, Davis, Jos. And all the ''decent'' players for us at that level are being moved on anyway/sidelined, so we'd be left with quite a poor looking squad. We'd basically have to start again, so the last 2 years would become null and void.
-
I hate this view about ''Oh well, we'll go back and come back up again''. The last time we went down, it took us 7 years to get back. Excuse me for being blunt, but **** that for a laugh again. We're back here now and we need to make sure that we bloody well stay here. Getting relegated this season will harm this club, no matter what way it's painted.
-
Agreed. Look at the threads he starts, and then runs away. Sad though.
-
So you were the idiot that phoned up talksport.
-
Used to be, but not really these days. Wouldn't say he'd be a massive improvement.
-
They.Are.Playing.Games. Spurs interest ended long ago. They are currently trying to secure Willian

The FC Twente guy I believe. Tracked by a few PL clubs this summer, notably WHU at one point. Has a very good reputation.
-
3 games mean nout. The entire club is ruined from top to bottom. When you have the director of football saying things like this, then you know you're at a badly damaged club. Director of football Shebby Singh said: "If, after three games, we have dropped nine points, then we'll only have a 50% chance of getting promoted."
-
Rovers are panicking. They have screwed up so bad this summer (what a surprise there). The way they went about the Rhodes deal was a joke to say the least. This is just a story to appease the fans, they haven't got a chance of signing either.
-
I must say, I'm slightly concerned about the lack of any rumours, what so ever. That to me suggests we're not close to anything right now. It's impossible to keep transfers in the PL quiet, no matter what club you are, so if you're close a story will break to say as much. But we've nothing, no player links anywhere. I just hope next week isn't a panic buy week, and the players we target and genuinely players we have tracked for a while.
-
We don't need 4/5. That's knee-jerking. 2/3 was always the basis of what we needed here and now, today's result doesn't change that. If you expect more than that then you'll have a frustrating week methinks.
-
A bit flat if I'm honest. Never really got going. Like the game. All a bit of an underwhelming day.
