  1. I reckon Reading will beat Stoke.
  2. Their chairman made our interest known in a radio interview.
  3. West Ham, where their chairman likes to tweet and the son likes to post transfer news as well. Dave Whelan Nottingham forests new owners use twitter to also confirm their interest in players.
  4. Well exactly, I know it's almost impossible to do it now. I just remember people moaning and moaning about our need to keep things quiet a while ago, well this is exactly why we try....
  5. It's not the agent, it's a third party ownership with his former club. Happens a lot in Italy, especially between Italian clubs. One club will own 40% and the other 60% etc, so if a club wants to buy a player they need to agree a fee with both clubs. Italy has always played it like that as far as I know, seems a real shaddy league
  6. This is exactly why Cortese wants all transfer news kept silent and out of the media. Now you've got the problem of having fans raised expectations and if the deal doesn't happened then the whole mood around the fan base will change. I know it's hard and almost impossible to keep a transfer like this quiet, but those moaning about him trying to keep everything quiet need to realise he has a very valid point and reason behind it. Gaston was a right idiot coming out saying what he did yesterday morning. Should never have commented on it, now he's potentially ruined the move by winding up Bolonga. Bolonga have since changed their stance on what they want for the player, that's where the confusion has arose. It was agreed. Until he blabbed and wound them up.
  7. I have no idea what most of these articles are actually implying, lots of english words all around the wrong way.
  8. cheers for all your snippets by the way. Still confused as to how we've managed to jump to the head of the queue on this one. Think it's something to do with Corteses Italian links?
  9. You are in love with him mate!!

  11. But we took the **** with our bid, Blackpool didn't which is why they signed him. You've also got to remember, they signed him as a PL club. We were L1. No brainer.
  12. Didn't really expect a great deal, but it has been mentioned on some other forums that the Bolonga manager has said it's done to his knowledge.
  13. Yep, frightening response to Clyne!
  14. ''We've signed Clyne, a highly rated full back" Cundy - ''Hmm, crystal palace are selling too many players at the moment''
  15. Jason Cundy doesn't have a clue does he? ''So what about the stars for next season, can we expect the likes of Jason Punchon to make an impact?''
  16. Apparently the Bolonga manager has said that it's pretty much a done deal. Can't find any direct quotes on that yet though.
  17. Are they premier league quality though? Good luck to them, I expect lots of good quality modding.
  18. Simon Peach ‏@SimonPeach Becoming a bit of a @talkSPORT regular at the moment. Going on to talk Gastón Ramírez to #SaintsFC at 11:45pm.
  19. Let's hope so Dan....
  20. Not quite.
  21. Can't believe we're in for both.
  22. Yep, spot on.
  23. Ok, so basically sounds like Gaston and the agent have jumped the gun slightly - everything is agreed with the player, and as I thought earlier, Bologna are rightly miffed that he's talking as if he's our player when they are yet to be presented with a final offer that they like. I suspect discussions are on-going with our officials and his club officials. It looks like we've put a lot of time and effort into this deal and Gaston has made it clear he wants to go, so if we give Bologna what they want, which I believe we will in the end, then it will all happen quite quickly. Some of the stories earlier made it sound like it was all done, but with all modern day transfers it's never over until the ink is dry and the OS is updated with his name. It's exciting talking about the possibility and it's exciting that we are genuinely tracking a player of his level. Let's not panic though.
  24. Who knows.
  25. Why?
