Fourth_Official knew of our interest in Fox and Jay Rod before anyone else, it's just that the 2nd part of the deal didn't happen, but we did try. He's obviously got contacts (or they, as the case may be) and it's worth keeping an eye on for snippets. Oaka is also a wide player, he can operate down either flank afaik, so it could make sense especially with our Sere A connections. Way too good for this league though if he's on form.

According to the Journos up in Palace we inquired very seriously at the end of August. He still hasn't signed his contract and he's available for free in the summer, so you'd imagine a fee of around £2m could be tempting for them. Don't think it's a massive priority though as we have Fraser, Butters, Stephens and even Harding who can play there. But he's quality and will improve the squad, so can't complain if it happens.

Celtic, and especially Lennon, have played this transfer interest completely wrong. Everything points to us having serious interest and Celtic playing their hand and letting us negotiate. That's how I see it. Then you have Lennon disconnected from it all making stupid desperate comments because he knows we're serious.

He didn't play for Bristol City today, and their fans aren't sure why.

He did alright, kept the ball well and used it well - but he came on when we were coasting it. I'm not sure he's who we can call upon when we need something special to win a match in the final 10.

Yeah thought it looked like Cramp actually, with how he went down and how he was trying to stretch out. I'd imagine he hasn't had much full training this week what with his injury.

That was my take on it, Hooper was being talked about as 'another' interest from what I could hear. We can't be that close to doing a deal for Hooper to have it done for next week anyway, so it's another player IMO

Wow this is early.... Will be interesting to see what state Leicester are in, as they have a tough game before they play us in the FA Cup replay. I'd imagine they'll rest a few for that. We'll have a couple of new faces and according to Nigel more players back from injury, so we'll be looking pretty healthy by next monday!

from what I saw it's a toss up between 3... Morgan, Cork and Connolly. I'll give it to Cork because he dictated the midfield in an attacking sense and opened it up for us to get the first.
