corner wasted - gk.

There isn't really any other way to dress it up, our away form has been utter pants. Performance wise we've been ok in a fair few of the game, but we've started recently to turn in real **** displays away. TBF this is probably our slump which we were going to have as we got injuries. At least we got ourselves into a good position to have this slump!

Yeh, 3 man midfield - taken away the width. They've got Lallana playing in behind Guly and SDR. Not sure why a big change was needed, as the first half was fine bar the lack of a goal.
-
They were poss on about the 2nd half tactical change? Which tbf sounds like a cockup.
-
Corner donny. We need to keep this quiet for 5mins or so, their tales are up.
-
you have to say so far, this sounds like an absolute tactical cockup by Adkins. What is up with our away form, it's useless.
-
Clueless fan more like, if he was referring to saints.
-
Giles Barnes on - dangerous player.
-
Do you know what the result will be then?
-
Not too bad - not sure how much threat Guly will offer on his own, but we'll see. I expect as you said the midfield will change around a fair bit, could expect Lallana to popup in behind at some point.

Pretty sure, was told y/day by someone usually spot on that Lambo will be missing for the next few games. Hope it's just today tbf... It's a blow because he's pivitol to how we play, but I don;t think we rely on him as much as we did under Pardew. We litterly had no idea under Pards if Rickie was injured, I think we have alternatives now - not as potent, but still additional options. I would be very surprised if SDR doesn't start up top alongside Guly.

Fantastic signing, a no brainer for me. As well as being terrific on the pitch, he looks like such a decent genuine lad and has struck up a really good rapport with everyone at the club. I genuinely like the lad and I think him and Jose could be our partnership for a long time to come, they both compliment each others games very well. Best CB partnership we've had for a long long time.
-
He's being tracked by the Milan clubs, Barca, Liverpool and Chelsea I believe. He's not a realistic one for us at the mo.
-
I really don't think they have much to splash around anymore. Expect them to be run similar to Villa from now on.
-
As others have said, it's not too bad. January and Funerary look much much more daunting.
-
No surprise really, he's not done as expected up there. Sunderland fans have been voicing out against him for a while now. Not sure who they'll get to replace him that's higher profile though.
-
If you look, quite a few of his free kicks these days are ''different''. Fooling the oppo and going for a cross back post for Fonte to header down.... There's more thought about his free kicks now rather than just a free shot for him.

That was a good win no doubt. But for me this was our best because of the situation we found ourselves in at HT, and the massive hole we had to dig oursevles out of. Hull turned up and played good stuff, unlike West ham.

Some of the fans last night were doing my bloody head in. Comments along the lines about Barnard not being good enough for this league, if we don't beat Hull we don't deserve promotion, Lambert is just average at this level, Lallana has been found out, Guly is ****, Davis is dodgy. All in all quite a frustrating night listening to all that tosh. I have no issue with critising the team generally, as we didn't play well in the first half. It's the stupid outlandish conclusions people come to and knee-jerk responses to things they don't really understand. We're in a stunning position in the league, we didn't play well, but we won and are now 8pts clear of third. A year ago we were top 10 in L1 losing at home to Brentford. We've come a bloody long way with the same group of players, which IMO has totally shocked me.
-
But he still hasn't had much of a chance at this level to come to that conclusion - you may be right, but he could sitll turn out to be a decent goal scorer at this level. He lacks a bit of pace but he always works his arse off and that's a quality that doesn't always come bundled in with a £2.5m mega signing for e.g. I still think he'll suprise a few this year and make his mark at this level. He's the sort of player that can pop up with crucial goals away from home as we saw last year.
-
Adkins spoke of Seaborne the other day, he's back with the group but still a long long way from playing. I'd assume he now has to have another pre-season as such, and depending on how he recovered...alter how he heads the ball...who knows. I don't think we'll see Jaidi again this year after Solents comments last night, he has quite an issue with his knee apparentley - he's had the op on it, but according to them he still is having issues. When a player of his 'bulk' and age starts getting injuries like that it's usually time to hang up the boots. I'd love him to stay around the club as some sort of coach though because they love him there. The young kids could learn so much from him, as he's played at most levels of professional football.
-
He's a marmite type of player. He has insane ability on the ball if he's in the mood and has the space, but if he's closed down quickly then he starts to look a little clumsey. But still in every game he's a threat, he's one of those unpredictable characters - he could either trip over his feet, or dribble through 3 players and score! that's the beauty of him... I think he's a match winner and that's why he's a pretty regular fixture in the 11 - he's had many more good games than bad this year anyway, and he looks at total ease in the championship.
-
I think some of the opinions and conclusions people are coming to after just 2 appreances is nothing short of pathetic. I had a guy near me last night and as soon as he heard Barnard is coming on, his words were ''I saw him as a sub a few weeks back, he's no where near good enough for this league. L1 at best" We have some right idiots as fans.
-
4-4-2 from what I could make out, with Morgan playing on the right wing. It didn't work, lacked any real shape or balance as others have said. When we had 2 out and out wingers in the 2nd half we played that formation much better.
