I'd be very surprised if they don't close the gap tonight.

Twisted awkwardly and did his knee. Didn't even bother to attempt to restart - he went straight off being helped by the physios. I'm ****ting it cause I think it's going to be a bad one. Best case is weeks from how it sounded. (I think Sibley made a tweet that his knee was bent?)

They're a weird team. They're being filled up with ex-premiership and European top flight players, so in that sense they'll be dangerous. Not sure they'll be much of a team though Illunga, Marc-Antonie Fortune, Douif etc..
-
Absolutely, got a horrible feeling it's very much long-term. It sounded like one of those innocuous twists, with no one around you - they often equal the worst injuries.
-
To be fair though we'll have our blips at home this year too. Our home form has been amazing, and it is the reason we are top. Our away form has been patchy all season to be honest, hope we can get some sort of consistency away soon!
-
You keep saying this, which is fair enough. But who would you buy, and which positions would you replace?
-
Worst game of the season, easily. Not bad that it's taken us until November to achieve it! To be fair though, our away form is still way too patchy and we're kind of relying on winning at home every time to stay the pace.

One blip in a pretty blipless 12 months.
-
Cardiff are closing it, not sure what the points are though.
-
Burnley have come from 2-0 to beat Hull. Not bad, keeps Hull off our coat tales too.
-
I think most (hopefully all...) are being sarcastic. But you can never tell these days.
-
Being ineffective for Preston.
-
We'll be lucky to finish 17th, hanging onto that place as it stands.
-
We've got more points than newcastle and QPR had at this stage in the previous 2 seasons.
-
TBF I don't think Bristol City were ever as bad as their position showed, they're easily a comfortable decent mid-table team and will upset quite a few at their home under a decent manager.
-
It really sounds like we've missed his energy, and if his injury is as bad as it sounds, we'll be missing his energy for a very long time. All in all probably the worst match day of the season.
-
We're lucky with the other results...so far! but this is a bit of a bummer, these are the sort of games you'd expect us to win. This performance reminds me of Southampton of old! Still it's been an amazing start, I just hope we've got enough about us to make it an amazing season. Games like this put the doubts in peoples minds!

game.over. (although we've not exactly turned up all game tbh)

Good chance, James Saved from Lallana

Chaplow being helped off. Don't like the sounds of that, sounds like it could be a very nasty knee injury.
-
Sounds like a bad one for chaplow

Just agent talk, If we really wanted him he'd have been here months ago.
-
It may not be £3m though. And even if it is, it's probably 3m over years, if he achieves certain things with us - such as so many goals, so many apps, promotion etc. It will not be £3m guaretneed, I'm 99.9999% certain of that. Probably around £1m initial fee to snap him up.

Nearly everyone was underwhelmed by Jos, but he's turning into one of our most important players. Nigel and our coaches know more about Lukas than any of us, they'd have studied him for weeks. They'll know his strengths and weaknesses, if they feel he'll ad something to us and improve the group then he will.
