  1. I think sometimes fans can be so blinkered that any criticism, even if justified, is met with complete disagreement. ''You can never say anything bad, even if we lost 3-0 we did a good job etc".
  2. He said we have Lee joining and he's very excited about that, and also another signing is very close and will be done next week. And obviously that isn't hooper.
  3. I think the third player we're after is an attacking wide-right player, who can also do a job up front if required.
  4. and that! I love our fans sometimes.
  5. Text on solent - ''Sam Vokes and Lukas are saints fans and exactly the type of players we need'' really....really?...If they weren't saints fans would you even be that bothered about them? Didn't think so.
  6. He clearly wants Hooper big time.
  7. Apart from Lee, we are close to another signing in time for next week. He sounds very interested in Hooper and didn't deny a thing.
  8. He's always behind us....
  9. They're doing well, like a steam train at the mo. They'll struggle to keep a couple of their players this month though as they're being linked away, and they have no funds to bring any in. So it'll be interesting to see what they do... I don't think they have any room for mistake tbh, even with a win in their game in hand they're still 7 points behind.
  10. ''We don't need any!"
  11. Yep - lallana should be buying him a drink for that!
  12. We taught em' a lesson. Let's see what Clottrill has to say about this one, because we were still in control when they were 11 men.
  13. Didn't know the other scores until now... Cardiff 0-0 and Boro loosing! Brilliant day all round!
  14. I won't take credit for that mate....I was just quoting someone else!
  15. An exceptional away performance, in terms of how in control we were for 90% of the game that was our best away performance of the season. The midfield stood out, Morgan and Cork totally ran the show. Their touch and ability to manipulate the ball in tight areas created so many good attacks for us. Hammond sitting just in front of the back 4 gave us the platform to attack and the security to allow Cork to roam a bit more. Connolly was a class act. His movmenet with and without the ball tore them to shreds, his linkup play was second to none and he could have scored more than the 1 he did. Guly kept the ball well and battled up top, hopefully the injury isn't too bad... Defensivley we weren't really troubled, Forest weren't up to much at all....but we made them look like clowns in that 2nd half. We taught them a lesson in ball retention and it was a joy to watch us do that at such a famous ground. Let's hope this is the start of another fantastic run of form, but I don't think other teams will be as generous as Forest were in terms of time and space available.
  16. He's probably one of the better players in this league when fit tbh. He's a joy to watch when he's on his game.
  17. that was grant iirc
  18. Good solid away showing so far. Cork has ran the show from the middle of the park, and Conners is causing them all sorts of problems with his movement and his creating so much space. Lallana is still giving away the ball in some really **** positions that puts us under pressure.
  19. He has poor games where he is justifiably critised, and good games where he's justifiably praised.
  20. stream is dead
  21. also boro 2-0 down. brill
  22. Guuuuuuuuuly
  23. great chance for forest, all coming from lallanas sloppy play. He needs to wake up
  24. wtf lallana
  25. that works..nice one
