  1. 3-0
  2. fair enough, they've missed it. won't change the result though.
  3. pen to hudders well and truly all over.
  4. MK Dons sound awful, this game is over.
  5. Don't get too carried away with today's results, there's nothing we can do about them and it's still in our control no matter what.
  6. Our defense is dodgy? wtf are you on about?
  7. I don't believe this, I only believe what the Crystal Palace fan said a few weeks ago (we were in dire financial trouble, and all our academy kids had been released). He knows more. (Good news btw)
  8. TBH I don't like the idea of signing players who have been relegated (Henderson/Montgomery etc). Kyle Naughton would be the signing of the season if we could get him, I think he could be in spurs team next year though.
  9. My wish list for next year would be Kilgallon or Wes Morgan at CB - Marvin Elliott in cm, billy sharp up top and Kyle Naughton at RB....sorted. Sprinkle the likes of Lallana, Chambo, Lambo, Morgan etc around them and we'll have a top championship team...
  10. I think it's because so many high profile people are caught up in the mess and cover up (redknapp, scudermore, FA Bods etc), and anything revealed would bring the entire English game into disrepute.
  11. Matthew Kilgallon for me.
  12. Hudders are away at brighton when we play away at brentford. I feel there is a slip up in the hudders/pboro run ins - but it may not come in the most obvious fixtures. I remember posts before we played Norwich away last year ''we'll be thumped'' ''they'll **** us'' etc.......
  13. They have no real rivalry, so they are trying so desperately to create one. It's the same with Bournemouth as it also was with Reading. There is only one real rivalry on the South coast, all the others are pretty insignificant to us to be honest.
  14. lol. Hows the Emirates? IMO Wenger has lost it.
  15. Absolutely. It doesn't help when you're hindered with an injury at the start of the season too, that's prob cost him at least 10 goals. Last season he was up in the charts with Drogba and Rooney, yet funnily enough they have both had low scoring seasons (compared to last) too. I think the efforts of last season for the likes of Lambo/Rooney/Drogba etc will hit back at you physically as they've all struggled fitness wise. He'll still get 20 IMO which is a great return.
  16. It really isn't a disgrace. I don't get these posts. Claridge is fair and always has been. For some reason we want praise from every single pundit, if it's not forthcoming they're ****s....!
  17. I see no reason why we can't go there and get all 3 points. We had a game against Norwich last season, they hadn't lost at home in god knows how long, were top of the table as champions elect and we went away 2-0 winners. We've shown this season to perform better against the ''better'' teams, so I'm pretty confident. A defeat wouldn't be a disaster but it would put a lot of pressure on our remaining games.
  18. Yep, we won't see him for a while. Agree with Connolly too - let's just hope he lasts it....as we all know he's made of glass! Good player to have up your sleeve though but our squad is looking very very very stretched at the wrong time.
  19. A game to forget in terms of action/performance, but it was an enormous win - especially with the results around us. (I had hudders down to drop points today, buggers) Barnard won't play again this season, not with an injury like that. He's prob done his ligaments - was in total agony. No idea what's up with Lallana though? Surprised it wasn't mentioned in the post-match interview, so I think it's safe to assume he's had another recurrence. Worrying times with all these injuries.... Special mention to Connolly who was outstanding - great player to have up your sleeve.
  20. Totally, as Adkins says...draw a line, and onto the next one. Win that, couple of teams do us a favour and we're laughing. If we don't win on Saturday then that is the time to start worrying.
  21. Bit of a knee-jerk really.
  22. There is, but I expect us to respond well. All good teams do - Beware brizzle.... With Hudders away at Charlton too things could look very nice on Saturday afternoon. It's hard to know what to think of tonight's result, it's very frustrating but I don't feel it's doom and gloom. It's still very much on.
  23. Really frustrating. Still totally in our hands though and I expect things to look a hell lot better on Saturday evening. Hudders are away @ Charlton.
  24. Sounds pretty rubbish tbf. It was always going to be a really tricky game, and a defeat still isn't the ''end of the world'' at all. Just makes it a little more difficult! but that's the saints way...
  25. Yeah - Chappers at the mo is awful, but he's got talent so you have to work through those bad spells and get the best out of him again.
