He's actually a decent shout, didn't think about him. He's a quick/direct striker that plays for Watford, can play on the right wing too. 19/20 i think, 12 league goals last year...not too shabby at all.

They're already gelled as a team though, most of us know what our best 11 is and I'm pretty sure he does. They've been together for 2 years! Pre-season is all about getting the entire squad up to fitness, not just the starting 11. So i hope he plays 2 different teams otherwise it's a bit of a waste of time.

But it doesn't happen here much, in the last few years we've struggled to get the funds for a bloody loan signing, so to see us able to go in with these size of bids is reassuring for our future.

I've seen some people in other threads talking about 90mins + on hold.

He isn't even in contention at Reading anymore, saw a rumour a few weeks back linking him with Crawley on a loan deal. He's totally fallen away for some reason, he was good for us that season but I wouldn't really want him back now.

Totally agree with that, great post. People fail to realise sometimes that this team has been together for 2 years, and has been successful for 2 years winning lots of football matches. That's momentum that money can't buy.

Yep, on the verge of quitting apparently. He's not going on the pre-season trip with his players as he wants to stay behind to ''get things sorted''. Sounds like it's gone very sour there quite quickly. They are in serious need of players too, much more than us - they have a real need to panic!

Some players do and some don't. For e.g. - Chambo has a sponsorless shirt in one of the pics, but is stood next to Jack Cork, so is clearly this years photo.
