  1. I think we've had our moneys worth from him, the goals v MK Dons. I think he'll drift away now, I don't think he's taken his chances at all when he's had them this year. Certainly no where near good enough for a decent championship team.
  2. It was quite clear we'd be playing other players within the squad, anyone who assumed we wouldn't was a bit naive.
  3. It's a tricky call. If we played our first team tonight, won it, draw Man City away in the quarters....then lost on Saturday and drew next Tuesday.........and dropped out of the top 2. then I know what I'd be prioritizing to be honest...
  4. Nah probably not, we've given it a good go tbf and it sounds like Ward-Prowse hasn't looked out of place. 6 points from our next 2 home games is much more important.
  5. game over. our away form is pretty **** tbf!
  6. penalty palace, game over.
  7. Not full strength in attack, but at the back and with Ambrose in the middle they're pretty well stocked with experienced campaigners.
  8. I reckon we'll all be pleasantly surprised.
  9. I'm excited to see how Ward-Prowse does!
  10. Palace's team - pretty strong to my eyes. Crystal Palace: 34. Lewis Price, 2. Nathaniel Clyne, 4. Jonathan Parr, 5. Patrick McCarthy ©, 7. Darren Ambrose, 8. Kagisho Dikgacoi, 19. Jermaine Easter, 20. Jonathan Williams, 21. Dean Moxey, 28. Stuart O'Keefe, 38. Peter Ramage
  11. I've had a look around earlier Dune, nothing. Very surprised if there is anything, we're a nothing game tonight to most, in the grand scheme of things.
  12. Corby More, one of the young academy lads - midfielder I think.
  13. A draw is probably the best result for us, I'd take that.
  14. To be fair they haven't been doing too badly apart from the stinker this weekend, if the owners think that buying lots of players immediately equals good consistent results then they're clueless, and I fear for Leicester if they're this trigger happy.
  15. Really pleased about this, the kid is the next big thing - he's absolute class. He's just needed his opportunity...and now he's hopefully going to take it with both hands. He's very similar to Jack Wiltshire in the position he plays.
  16. Davis for me.
  17. He's a good CB, does his job every time he plays and I'm never nervous with him in the team. He's not as cultured as our other CB's, but he does his job first and foremost and that's getting the ball out of the danger area!
  18. On paper it looks better than this month's fixtures, but that doesn't always = better results. Let's hope we kick on from here, because this really tricky month has given us a great opportunity.
  19. Bart, De Ridder and Martin will start 100%. Can see Lambo getting a rest, same with Guly. Holmes is injured again unfortunately.
  20. He just had one of those very frustrating games, incredibly sloppy with the ball, playing the ball into stupid areas and trying to control and move the ball with 4 players around him. He just kept making the wrong decisions, until the last 20mins when he came to life and started to play as he can do.
  21. Don't think so. We were outstanding against Derby without him, and very effective against West Ham without him. Of course any team will miss him...but we've shown that we can still grind out results without him. He's very important to us, but I don't think we're poor whenever he's not in the team.
  22. I think he was on the bench, along with Luke Shaw - not sure they got on the pitch though. Will be interesting to see if he's brave enough to play any of the kids at Palace, who are in incredible form at the moment.
  23. Would expect to see Bart, Harding, Martin, Butters, De Ridder, Morgan and Forte given starts. The team could possibly be close to 11 changes from y/day, we looked so leggy yesterday at times and it's pointless wasting our first team players in this game. Let the ''backup'' lads show that they've still got something to offer this squad.
  24. Barnard had another relapse of his injury, so no idea about him. Sounds long-term to me. Lallana was apparentley very close to being in the squad yesterday, but in the end he didn't travel - so you could glean from this that he's also had a recurrence too.
  25. Jos. Thought he had another very strong showing.
