Totally agree with everything you say there. As we've seen with M'Boro last season, they spent £12m - they finished bottom half. Swansea barley spent a penny, but kept a squad together for years and built on the momentum.

CMS will join Lecister today, pretty much done and dusted. I expect us to either get maynard, or go for a forigen player.

Possibly the wages he wanted, and maybe his mindset for moving down south. Maybe he feels we can get better value elsewhere? Who knows, but at least it shows we have significant money to use.

Agreed, but some people can't stand this for some reason. They need to be spoon fed daily just to appease them. Alot of peoples opinions are that Leicester are spending £££££ simply because they're linked to so many players. They've only spent just over £1m and their fans are already panicking that they actually have no money. So it's not just us with the idiot fans.

Is this really all that matters to some people? We have to spend £$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on a player just because? If some of the people on this forum ever become football managers then I fear for the club.

It's just the normal ''back from holidays, and into pre-season'' press call. It'll be a case of talking about the hopes for the season, how the players look after the summer, what the pre-season plans are like.....and if any transfers are imminent.

I have a feeling that Adkins doesn't see Dickson as a relibable LB - when he's played he's quite often been used in an advanced left midfield position, and if that's where he sees him in the championship then we would need another LB for cover. (but I'd imagine if this happens, Harding would become the cover)

It shows the differences between the ambitions of us and P'boro. They're after good L1 players - we've been there and done that. We're now after good championship players. Totally different playing fields, we quite clearly have a fair bit of cash.

We already have a very settled squad, with players that are very familier with eachother having been together for the last 2 years. Signing 2 or 3 quality players will not require gelling time, that's just a myth. If they're good enough they're make an impact straight away. It's also still June.

Absoloutley spot on. There's no point panic buying in June, which is what alot of posters seem to advocate us doing.

He'd be a fool leaving if true. He can either have professional football week in week out, in a very competitive league. Or reserve and Under 18 football at arsenal, because he'll be nowhere near their first team yet. Similar to Theo in that he could potentially waste 18 months which could be put to better use...i.e playing!
