  1. Cheers Baj - great celebration from Fonte! loved it.
  2. @ loydjames26 Well done saints big result think that was the win to take them up well done!!
  3. Quality Saint_Jonny - great find. That along with their ''special'' pre-match music montage is brilliant. They have just confirmed their noddy club status really, and I thought them bringing out a DVD of their win at St Mary's was sad enough.
  4. Well that's been clear to see for weeks tbh!
  5. I can see a huge walk up for Monday's game, nice weather and a bank holiday. Walsall should be a complete sell out, I'd be surprised if there are still tickets available on the week leading up to it. Wouldn't it be nice to celebrate a final day with a Trophy and a promotion? Rather than relegation or just avoiding relegation....that's all I've ever experienced!
  6. Apparently as well, according to bright lights on here, he's not had a good season we're performing below expectations and Cortese is getting the P45 ready.
  7. Who the hell can blame him after all the personal abuse that was directed at him from that side all game.
  8. There is! if you keep clicking for a while.. ''The wheels are in motion and everyone wants to be on the bus.''
  9. Connolly on there now, I don't think I've ever heard him speak since he's been with us.
  10. TBF they're a gracious bunch. Don't mind them as fans and a decent club too. This result could shatter their players psychologically though - they know they need to win every single game now, no margin for error now - Is that too much...?
  11. Greer should be back, who was missing today due to suspension - he's arguably their best CB.
  12. If only it was that simple! If you apply that logic to it we should have beaten Walsall and Tranmere too! Very tricky and pressured games coming up - no doubt about it, but this result means we continue to lead the race.
  13. lol. That's brilliant.
  14. I can't see any how professional football player or a football club could set out to lose a game. This will be their final home game at the Withdean and a ''party'' for them as they get the Trophy and the lap at the end of the game. It will be very very tricky for Huddersfield.
  15. He doesn't just have a plan B, he has a plan c as well! 3 tactical changes today influenced this result. The one criticism i had for Pardew is we'd keep playing the same way even if it wasn't working, now we have a manger that's not scared to make a change or even 2.
  16. Win the two home games, pick up a point from one of the away games and that'll give us 87. That will be enough even if Hudders win 2 and draw 1 of their remaining 3 (meaning they extend their unbeaten record). They should get 86 points from their two home games, but I reckon they'll drop them at Brighton. I can't see Brighton losing their last ever game at the Withdean. I still think that'll do it, but these home games still make me nervous, they should be wins....but who knows!! still a lot of work to be done
  17. I just knew we'd win this one, we always manage to raise it for the bigger games which makes the Rochdale and Walsall results even more frustrating! Hartlepool at home will be the killer test though - comes very quickly after this one and we've put so much into this. We should win it...but let's not count our chickens just yet, still a long way to go in order to secure this! This team is terrific though, the complete mentalist that said before the game ''we don't have the mental strength as other teams'' - care to come and retract that comment? This is the sort of win that could psychologically kill Huddersfield.
  18. Sounded a bit of a dodgy start there!
  19. He isn't.
  20. Why do people post things like this? Our position in the league is dictated by the start we had, since then we have been as good as Brigthon and better than Hudders/P'Boro over the course of the season. We have a fantastic team spirit, a terrific bunch of players who all want to win promotion - there is a drive, that was clear to see against MK Dons. The fact that you didn't expect to see us battling with Huddersfield for a promotion place is a bizarre comment too. Who else were we going to be battling with? This is L1 and Huddersfield are one of the best teams at this level. The fact we're in this position after the start we had is a great effort IMO.
  21. You're ignoring the Wilkins period though, where we lost 4 games on the bounce. That is what has made this so tight, if we'd have had Adkins from the start (or even Pardew stayed and everything was rosey) then I honestly believe we'd be very close to Brighton, if not above them. Everything we have done since Adkins has been ''in the building'' has met my expectations results wise.
  22. You are such a knob.
  23. wooo come back on - 3-1
  24. It's not even close. Theirs is 28 ours is 38
  25. Two horse race it is then!
