  1. ...and I have a sneaky feeling that the open training session on Thursday is to show something off.
  2. errrrrrrrrrr?
  3. Southampton were the best side I'd seem down the KP for a long time. Brilliant football game. Lallana gave him a lesson. The skill for the first was worth of a higher level. Having said that, we did beat the best footballing team we have played for many a long time. If they manage to bring in another striker and a centre back I'd put a lot of money on them getting automatic promotion. They were excellent Southampton are a very good side and will be up there come May. They reminded me very much of Norwich last season with their style of play. Good on the ball, good at the physical stuff.
  4. Will be interesting to see how he does when Brighton play some decent teams, they've not really had any real tests so far. By all accounts we've had a pretty tough start on paper.

    Dilemma

I agree with this. Cork has taken our midfield to a new level, and dictates how we play. We'd be weaker long-term without him influencing things. It's nice to have that versatility in the team though.
  6. It outweighs it for the majority of fans, but unfortunately we have a group of fans who are waiting for us to fail just so they can make these points. I really really don't understand it. This is such a positive club to support at the moment, I'm loving it.
  7. They think it's like football manager. Make a bid, get it accepted, press OK and the player is yours. It should only take a few minutes to make a signing apparently,
  8. Should have been a foul, no question. Rubbish decision.
  9. I think one of them was actually down to Fonte, albeit he did slip.
  10. Adkins will never ever comment about speculation, only when a deal is all but done. Annoys me that the media keep trying.
  11. 12 points from a possible 15. 12 goals in 5 league games. there really isn't anything to moan about. We could do with a CB, and I'm sure Adkins feels the same. The lads have done bloody well so far though.
  12. First 45 cost us the game due to our inept defending. Looks like Sven played the usual ''cautious" card in the 2nd half, which allowed us to get on top. Sounded like a great effort by us.
  13. Good effort lads. Not a great first half, but the 2nd half was immense. We're going to have a good season.
  14. This could be any score for Leicester, we're that bad at the back.
  15. Not surprising, with the money they've spent they should be at a level above us really.
  16. This will get lost in this thread. Just email them directly.
  17. Forums performing well as expected.
  18. Could be a long afternoon! Sounds like horrendous defending.
  19. We're unchanged again. Saints vs Leicester: Davis. Richardson, Fonte, Seaborne, Harding. Guly, Hammond ©, Cork, Lallana. Connolly, Lambert On the bench for Saints today: Bialkowski, Schneiderlin, Fox, Martin and De Ridde
  20. Ward-Prowse and Stephens look utter class.
  21. According to reports in the Hull Daily Mail, Leicester City striker Martyn Waghorn would favour a move to Hull City over Southampton after the Foxes gave him permission to leave the club before the transfer window closes.
  22. Pretty sure that's not the spec we're looking for. We want a striker that will come in and improve what we have long-term, and challenge all of our forwards, we want someone who'd be pretty much first choice with Lambo, not a backup.
  23. Have you see him play? I have, and he's not slow.
  24. Yep. Little live wire really and would add something to our front line that we don't currently have. He just needs games, Sven hasn't included him since he came in and bought all his mates (Vassell etc) Leicesters decision to let strikers go lately hasn't been great anyway, Fryatt is also quality as Hull are seeing..
  25. I'm not...it's not the end of the world for me, either way.
