Possibly. In a way you can understand him, he's worked all his career to get into the premiership - if I was him i'd want to try and give it a crack, he might never get another chance. I think he'd have wanted a massive wedge to drop down again.

How can you say that? You never hear from him usually, a statement or a paragraph in the programme is very very rare. He never speaks, he's in the background 90% of the time. Let's hang him for having his picture on the programme.

He was terrific when Leicester initially had him on loan. A real nippy striker who got almost 15 goals IIRC. they spent 3m big ones on him, but he didn't really light up the league the next season (mainly due to Sven arriving and players like Yakubu pushing him out)

Don't think you can read too much into that. Lambo still played for Rovers on the Sat. fixture even though a transfer was imminent and went through on the Monday. You'll probably see the market open up in the next few weeks though, teams lowering the valuations as they know clubs aren't going to match them and the player(s) won't sign a new contract...so they need to cash in. One player in particular springs to mind.
