+1 he's just going through a bit of a lean spell at the moment. But i guess it's better to have it now than at the business end of the season...

I still believe that whatever happens we'll still get into the top 6, the decision next week will go a long way to deciding if we're still in with a chance of being champions.

Bale's deal was paid up, we re-negotiatied the added bonuses in the deal so we could get the money up front. I believe we forefited the % of sale too. Oh and we got Tommy Forecast as part of the deal, so all is good. I believe the same happened with the Wallcott Deal.

It is really bad, Davis is busy relaying the turf when we have corners. Never known it to be this bad, and we've relaid it a few times since we've been at St Mary's.

I actually don't think Curb's is a bad shout if im honest. He ticks a few boxes in that he's got promotions in the football league, he's had consistent solid seasons in the top flight and he's experienced throughout english football. Sounds like the sort of guy that could take us right through to the PL, which is what we need now. Some people have never taken to Curbs though and i'm not sure why, i actually think he'd be one hell of a coup at this level.

Or we need Cortese to realise the errors of his ways and let a manager, manage. I don't think he ever trusted Pardew. Stranger things have happened.

Not ITK on that Derry, just a hunch. Groin injuries can be an utter nightmare to get rid of, esp. when you're a big fella. Sometimes surgery is the only option, but it doesn't usually result in a long-term lay off (well it could if we keep bloody well playing him with the sodding injury)

I thought he was ok, the first thought he has is to get forward and into space. His touch seems ok and he snaps the passes around quite well. I think he'll be great in an AMC role, but one of Hammond or Morgan will have to be sacrificed.

Surely the fact that he's still out there on the radio trying to sell himself, indicates that he hasn't even been approached for an interview? If you were in with a chance and had an interview, you'd STFU until you either had the job or were told otherwise.

Well the first one is rubbish - as Lallana is 100% injured and had surgery early last week, that is a complete and utter fact. the other 2 are pretty much fantasy as well. Who told you this?

I agree with some of what you say, but i still think there is time to do something this season if we get the right man in this week. It's all hanging on that pretty much. This isn't how this season was meant to pan out.

It's not been totally blown quite yet, it's all relying on the decision this week.

We tried to sign him but weren't willing to pay over 500k - that's the max we offered and Reading wouldn't budge. TBF i wouldn't be willing to pay over that for him either. He won't come here now, he's part of Readings first team and there isn't a chance he'd be allowed to come here on loan.
