Would you sign Papa Waigo N'Diaye on a permanent basis?

we won't get any better than a Serie A player in L1 tbh. -

great logic -
Maybe you were sat near me? there was a guy just over from me (kingsland, block 28 ) who was just saying how crap he was all game ''we should have sold him when we had the chance, no one will sign him now'' of course these are the sort of people who also believe they are more qualified than AP to make tactical changes.
-
i don't think we can even risk losing to Norwich tbh, we need to win every game now and hope that others slip up - a draw here and there wouldn't be a disaster, but 1 more defeat and it really is curtains.

Pardew expects Southampton board to keep their word

18 months is fine, by xmas i expect us to be in the thick of the automatic promotion race. If we're outside the top 6 then that's when questions will be asked. -
but why should you be helped out? you have been totally mismanaged and have spent beyond your means, therefore you should sit back and take the punishments.

bit harsh, it was also down to him why we looked so threatening when we attacked. He gives us a great dimension and i think lambo loves playing with him, his last two performances have been class. -
''Storrie also revealed that he discussed the possibility of walking away from football with his wife on Sunday'' tbf, what does he expect? it's not like he was physically attacked or anything. ..and how many times is this div going to discuss the possibility of quitting? Just do it already..!
-
We look more threatening and create more chances when he's on the pitch. no argument.
-
we have to build a team first that could sustain 30k + crowds - and we haven't got that yet - ok, the odd 2/3 games a season...but we're not going to get that every week until we're back in the top flight, sad to say. When we're back in the CCC and competing in the top half, it may be worth having a look at how it can be done.
-
i reckon he's found someone with money and substance tbh, they'll be fine now, makes me sick to say.

birmingham will do them with ease, based on what i saw yesterday.

If he was going to move to a championship club, i believe he would have done by now. He had the chance in the summer, with boro interested. As some have said above, most championship clubs are having to reduce their budgets - so i don't believe anyone will throw 2.5-3m on a player, who at 27, is yet to prove himself outside of the bottom 2 divisions. I know he'll probably go on and score in a level above as well, but in this day and age clubs aren't going to gamble that amount of money away. He is safe with us for next year.

you're right, the PL will help them out. God help their lovely little league being given a bad image.
-
just watched an interview with storrie, he praises the ''EPL'' for their support and confessed that they will help where they need to. WTF? why on earth do they deserve help? why do they deserve any support at all, ever? they got into this situation because of bad management - and they should not be given a helping hand to get out of it. makes me sick, and in some ways makes me glad to be out of the PL - such a murky league.
-
he was great today as everyone has said - it wasn't just his technical ability which impressed me, it was his continuous harassing of their midfield - he won the ball off players like Diop and Basinas time after time. I still think we'll keep him in the summer as well, i can't see a prem. club going for him just yet - and not many CCC clubs will be able to meet the price we want, so i think he'll stay on this journey with us.
-
It's a long shot, we will need to win pretty much every week from now on to even scrape in.
-
nasty, nasty football club. next season they will be ****ed, because their best players aren't even theirs.
-
twas a fantastic bit of play by him, we need to see more of that. I think that was a fantastic save by James though tbh - lallana didn't do too much wrong.
-
I can understand why he does take the set-pieces, it's an interesting ploy and our corners have been much better since he's been taking them. (last 2 games anyway) but then you're right in a way, you have the situation where the ball falls to players like Jaidi, Papa in the box...and not Lambert. (which is what we saw today) Id' mix it up a bit personally, i wouldn't have him on the set-pieces all the time - but he is an interesting option to use as he's got such quality on his delivery.
-
their support was a joke in all honesty, i forgot they were there half the time. We out-sung them with ease.
-
Very proud, our club was shown in a good light today - we were the better team in that first half, and without their loan players they would be out of the FA Cup. The likes of quincy, O'hara and Dindane - were the difference , and they're not even theirs
-
what's the point in over-analysing it?? it's simple - we were beaten because of their pace and finishing, not because of a tactical error or a players mistake. They have much better players than us, end of - once we were in a position where they could hit us on the break, we were in trouble. That is why we are 2 divisions apart (even though it pains me to say it)
