  1. i just re-watched it, and it's better than that. He picked the ball up in their half, ran past Saga, Hammond, Thomson and skinned james before putting a peach of a ball into the box. ok - thomson/james and saga weren't the hardest players to beat - but it's still a cracking run by the lad.
  2. the main problem is that they are managed by a total pillock, in karl robinson. and he's useless in management terms too.
  3. Sounds like he's L1's version of Bale.
  4. if harding is injured all we have is Mills. no disrespect to Mills, but he's not the perfect player. This is all about squad depth and squad options, and it's good that we're in a position to be able to add to the squad with good players, rather than filling it with average cover players.
  5. He never got a chance at Wolves, he was signed at a cut price as a squad player, nothing more - which is a shame, because i feel he could have offered something. If he was promoted to the prem with us and was settled in the team, i think he'd have much more impact.
  6. He looks outstanding at the mo. not sure if that's good for us or not!
  7. ..
  8. wow, that's one hell of a bump
  9. wouldn't be surprised if he's looked at his availability, but i know alot of people didn't rate him - under the right management he could be decent though IMO - esp. at this level.
  10. the rumour doing the rounds of charlton supporting mates is that they're going into admin within a month. They needed to get promoted this season to have any chance of stabilising the current setup apparently
  11. pard's made the comment at the start of the season ''it was always going to be hard for us, as we'd just lost our 2 best players. I watched the preston north end game from last season, and Surman and McGoldrick drove the team themselves that day''
  12. They've just issued a formal application to the FA for a UEFA Club Licence. how many times do they need to be told NO? and surely that would work backwards for them, as the season would start earlier and they'd have even less time to get a squad together and sort out a CVA. oh well.
  13. I'd prefer Racon, thought he looked a class act when he came on last night.
  14. wow the fire sale really is starting. i thought Brown was one of the players they would have been able to keep, obviously not then. they're ****ed.
  15. I'm sure he'd reject the majority of championship clubs to re-sign for us. Infact i'm certain of it. He was at Wembley with his family as fans, so this club will always be close to his heart.
  16. yes please - best player on the pitch last night. he's got 24 assists this year too, or something like that.
  17. + 1 - i never want to be involved in a play-off penalty shoot out again! hard to grasp that 46 games and lots of wins come down to 1 spot kit.
  18. Cracking game, it's had everything. agree with the attendance though, really **** poor.
  19. i think his ego is a little too big for league 1! (oh and his wage demands)
  20. great shout, was a beast for reading in their record breaking season and i believe he was initially signed by Pards?
  21. don't think he did, the article states that the baggies decided not to offer him a 12 month extention i think. i agree with everyone else - he'd be one heck of a statement signing in the exact position we need one. Another player that could go the journey with us...as AP likes to say.
  22. Falkirk fans don't actually rate this lad tbh, at the end of the day (and i don't want this to come across as arrogant) but if we wanted him, we'd have got him.
  23. I would imagine season ticket details are imminent, i.e. this week.
  24. Robert Koren has just been released by WBA. I would love us to go for him, he's a class act in the championship. I'd love to see him in L1..
