such non-corners from us, might as well just give them a GK! -

Thomas on - james off sounds like we're going to push both Jon and Mills on as wing backs with Thomas / Seaborne and Fonte as the 3 cb's -
this game sounds totally dead...
-
should be 2-1 exeter
-
strange tbh, although mills has come in and has done a decent job - would be harsh to just drop him.
-
that looks a bloody good team tbf...

there will still be tickets avaliable tommorow, i'm pretty sure of that. my advise is just to keep trying - it took me max 1 hour. (that was during lunchtime too)
-
They've just signed Ricardo Rocha too...

According to BBC South today, Portsmouth have signed Manuel Fernandes on loan from Valencia.......whilst they still haven't paid their current players. makes me sick, because he's a top player - they shouldn't be allowed to sign him.

why has it been depressing? we've had the most successful window we have had in years. Pardew said there would be no more business, so anyone who thought otherwise was a bit too optimistic! We've spent around 2m in this window and have kept all of our best players. What more could you ask for at L1 level!

Should Saints sign Papa Waigo & Antonio?
S-Clarke replied to The Fat Controller's topic in The Saints
I think Antonio is a dead cert. to sign on a perm deal, he's available for nothing and i cannot see pard's missing the opportunity to snap him up. Papa is a funny one, i don't think he's settled here 100%. He's got the ability, you cannot deny that - but i see him going back to Italy in the summer, can't see us spending the reported 1-2m to make it a perm. deal. -
I just think there are some people who just post certain things to provoke a reaction, nothing more, nothing less. I doubt they actually mean what they say half of the time.

i think you're right tbh. even though Puncheon can play as a winger...he was deployed quite alot in the middle of the park for MK Dons. When hammond is back, i think the midfield could look something like this: -------Morgan Puncheon - Hammond

But Grant's woes pale in comparison to the hardships the rest of the Pompey staff are forced to endure. The cupboard is literally bare after the caterers stripped the kitchens at the floundering club's Wellington training ground. Their catering firm Brakes have not been paid since OCTOBER and finally lost patience and shipped out - taking everything with them. Fridges, freezers and store cupboards at the south coast club's rented training facilities were totally emptied, forcing the chef to drive to Fratton Park every morning to pick up petty cash to feed the players. He then has to stock up on snacks from Eastleigh cash- and-carry store Booker which can then be given to the players after training.

AP Just confirmed - no more players in and no players out.

Saints V Stockport County - Post Match Reaction
S-Clarke replied to St Landrew's topic in The Saints
3 points, job done. 11th our highest position of the season? 13 points off the 6th placed team..but we have a game or 2 on hand of most of the top 6. -
Disappointed for Jaidi - he's one of the best defenders at this level, if not the best. He's not done anything wrong for us this year...but i guess Pard's feels he needs to play his new players.

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints
S-Clarke replied to Somewhere In Northam's topic in The Saints
yep, he's primarily a left winger - but can play all over the attacking third if needed. -
For a club of our size and the crowds we are pulling in, i'd say we are living within our means. in relative terms, 800k-1m on a transfer isn't much for us..when we average over 20k in attendances. We've also had the additional bonuses in the cups...FA Cup wins, JPT wins etc...it all puts a decent amount of money back into the club which even pays for some of the signings we've made for e.g. - look at Wolves, prepared to pay 2M (yes 2m ffs) for Jason roberts...

Puncheon Signs 3 1/2 Yr Contract at Saints

great signing, a stand out player at this level. Wonder how much we paid in the end? the plymouth OS states we paid a ''substantial fee'' to secure him. -

no comment from the club at all. It's weird - it just seems like the norm and it's been accepted that they wouldn't pay the wages on time again. they're waiting for the kaboul transfer to go through untill they can....and if that falls through, **** knows what'll happen.

Apparently we're not releasing the tickets to the skates, unless they pay for their allocation up front. ''Heard that Saints are not releasing tickets for the derby unless you pay up front. Not done the maths but guess its over £120,000? Which you have not come up with so far. If this is true your fans need to know - we don't get many derby games at the moment and it won't be the same without some (not too many!) of you there. Have you heard anything or anyone got tickets?'' not sure how reliable that is though tbf.
