he was instrumental in our attacking quality, he was clever enough to pull defenders all over the shop and open up space for our other players.
The sooner we get him back the better - i don't even know what's wrong with him.
no one wants him sacked, but i think there are a few concerns about the direction we are heading atm. (as a team, not a club)
we have an enormous squad and it seems that he doesn't know his best team. Jaidi and Harding just randomly dropped from the 11 isn't helping things IMO. (i don't think they're injured)
I'll be judging him from next year though, if we're not in with a shout of the top 2 - he'll be gone.
i don't think the plan is to have AP for the 5 years though, in a wonderful world it would work like that - but i see us going through 1 or even 2 more managers before the end of those 5 years.
It's the way of football these days. AP will not have an excuse next season - automatic or bust.
maybe, yeah, but everything was always up in the air this year.
i'm not too fussed on missing out of the playoffs this year, all things considered, anything but a top 2 finish next year would be shocking though.
Oh well, onto the cups! league season is over tbh, still will be content with a top 8 finish though (which i expect us to do)
exeter aren't the best team in the world, but they will give anyone a tough game at their place - but seeing as we took the lead we really should have enough in our locker to see it out now.
pretty disappointed tbh.
toally agree about DC - he was completely key to us winning those games 3-1 back in November.
what is up with him? no one's ever said...but he's just never in any squad.
agreed, i know we have lots of games...but what did Jaidi do so wrong to be dropped from the squad? i don't think he's injured.
it really does seem to me that he doesn't know his best team.
there will still be tickets avaliable tommorow, i'm pretty sure of that.
my advise is just to keep trying - it took me max 1 hour. (that was during lunchtime too)
