  1. It's Gobern they want apparently.
  2. they are all ITK it's nice that they're having to invent **** up to get at us though.
  3. You'll love this ITK view from a skate, after being asked if markus goes to our matches... ''He does go to some of the games, the arse-rag daily echo normally plaster pictures of his face on the back page if he does go - I only know that because I see both the echo and the snooze on sale in the newsagents around here. Benefit of living in halfway house Whitely. Well, not really a benefit to me, but you get the idea. I'd keep half an eye out for what he does with the club though, I remember when he took them over, someone I know who works in the docks as a civil engineer found out something that could become rather interesting for us to watch if it happens.'' ''Oh, he found out that Liebherr's crane contract is due for renewal sometime this year, and because apparently the maintenance costs are so high, the council are wondering if switching to another manufacturer would be cheaper. The chief engineer on the site has reason to believe that one of the reasons Liebherr bought the scummers was so he could use them as a bargaining chip when it comes down to negotiating the new contracts. Basically, he doesn't get the contract renewal, he drops the scummers and walks away. He gets the contract, he keeps investing in them. There's also been murmers of Lowe trying to get some more money out of them and is apparently eyeing up legal action to do so. Something about stock shares that he still owns but haven't been bought from him. Don't know if that one's true, though. Either way, things aren't as 100% rosy down the M27 as our red 'n' ****e wearing friends would have us believe. Certainly, their situation is currently far better than ours, but it could change, should Liebherr not get his way.'' ''So what did Marcus Liebherr do in WW2? And what did his dad do in WW1? We should be told. The Dock strike stuff is, indeed, nonsense. But the Liebherr family background wants looking at.:rolleyes:
  4. they'll get another big loan then
  5. makes a big big change, don't think there is another club outside the PL who could just say ''no'' to any bids.
  6. that's almost as bad as them loosing the computer file, last month
  7. just saw barnards chance....i think he had too long to think about that! he should have just hit it...
  8. they can call as much as they like, but we won't answer
  9. im sure he'll pocket a nice bit of cash too.
  10. surely they're insolvent? they're only paying players wages (late) each month by getting short term loan deals (i.e not their money) and apparently, the info on the wage slip (who's paid them) changes every month.
  11. don't go before you come to visit us, we want to send you out in style where have you heard about that btw? what happened with the takeover? i have looked on a few of your forums but i can't see anything on it now.
  12. Woes at Portsmouth affecting Guernsey Financial woes at Premiership football club Portsmouth are having a knock-on effect in Guernsey. The club was funding the island's soccer development centre - hoping to find a new Matt Le Tissier. But local coaches working for the club have been paid late and bills for hiring pitches and training facilities have not been met. This morning the Guernsey Football Association has pledged to keep the centre going for the rest of this season. Portsmouth say they'll continue to pay the coaches, but the GFA will now pick up the bills for venue hire - reckoned to be around two thousand pounds.
  13. no surprise what so ever. it's a joke that their embargo was lifted at all.
  14. Forecast Molly Pulis Lancashire Gillett White Gobern could all do with moving on and having a fresh start IMO.
  15. all the best saga - will never forget the 2nd half of the playoff season, he was complete quality. the benefit to this though is it will free up an enormous wage, so the money can go on 2 or 3 other additions in the future. if what i was told was true, he was on up to 12k (inc. bonuses)
  16. spot on. we can buy as many attacking wingers/strikers as we want, but as long as we have Wotton in the midfield hoofing it in the air, we will not do anything. I actually don't even think Rickie is amazing in the air, we'd get much more from him if we played it on the deck. He's got a v good touch and a nice range of passing.....so has lallana...and morgan....but we isolate them time and time again by hoofing it. If that isn't sorted, the lallanas/puncheons of the world will not get into the games enough to influence results on a regular basis. - which will be a waste. i hope AP agrees....
  17. trouble is, as it's a season-long loan at MK Dons, i'd expect they've already paid some kid of loan fee to plymouth. So they'll want their money back...
  18. we're the only club to agree a fee with plymouth.
  19. i'd imagine we'd have to pay them back the loan fee they agreed at the start of the season.
  20. he's more a left-sided winger, primarily left-footed i think. Stops us having to play Lallana on the left hopefully. *edit - i keep being beaten to it today
  21. i was a bit late...by a few seconds
  22. not 100% sure tbh. MK Dons paid a fee for the season, so it depends really - maybe we'll pay MK Dons too?
  23. looks like a done deal...
