Looks like Tic-Tac's may have got his wish. Apparently a done deal - 800k agreed, will sign in the next couple of days. Check the ''speculation thread'' and the Bristol rovers forums - they're going mad.
  2. He's Feeling very excited about the future. He would have liked the season to start a few weeks later - we missed preparation time due to problems we all know about. We are working to add more people to the squad It's all about time - things will happen. Wife hasn't seen much of Nicola as he has been constantly at the club, said he hopes a few surprises will be announced shortly. They're attempting to bring the club back to life in a balanced/structured method. Feels fans response has been unbelievable, has been surprised - in a good way - by the take up in season ticket sales. Reporter - ''How is Markus feeling at the moment? Nicola then put across a quote from ML's wife - ‘’After Ajax match, he went back to Switzerland - got home v late. Sat down on his chair and fell asleep with a wide smile on his face.’’ And finally...the most ''solid'' yes we have had in years... ''Will there be money spent on players?'' ''Yes''
  3. good point...
  4. rather than just free's and loans is what i was getting at Heard Pard's on his SaintsTV interviewing saying it's nice to be on the right side of a takeover and also have money available to spend.
  5. Got a feeling that we're going to see a bit of cash splashed about in the next few weeks! The pace will start to pick up...
  6. Current Killmarnock midfielder, one of their top top assets - 22 year old. Was told by someone earlier (who also gave me the killie forum link to back it up) that we ''Apparently'' were scouting him during Burnley's friendly against Killmarnock on thursday. ''heard today that an English 'sleeping giant' had a scout at the Burnley game watching Bryson. His club who have just been relegated are very interested in Craig and a bid looks forthcoming. The guy left straight away once Bryson got subbed , and sat there in the training top of his team... Silly silly.'' He confirms it was Southampton later on in their thread: http://www.killiefc.com/forum/viewthread.php?tid=48630&page=4 I'm glad they still think of us as a sleeping giant
  7. Good up and coming striker, maybe a bit raw..but natural ability. He's not coming in to be our focal point by any means, but he'll add some youthfull pace to the squad as a whole.
  8. I'm sure he does. Im not worried tbh - i know AP will bring in the right players, as he stated yesterday that our weaknesses were lack of power...pace....experience and strength in key positions. You don't get that with a couple of kids from Stockport - but there's no problem adding them to the squad to give us some depth.
  9. I noticed that...and he was also getting pretty irritated by the ball boys on more than one occasion when they were too slow, or at one point...throwing 2 balls back into play ffs! They actually trained the ball boys at reading to react quickly - and boy did reading make use of that. Hope we can do the same here
  10. He played well up untill about 60-70mins, he lost confidence after that short pass - which kind of sums him up at the mo. Possibly down to a bit of mental fatigue if anything, you've got to remember he's still only an 18 year old! You can see why premiership clubs are after him and IMO he could become the player that everything flows through in this team - he just needs someone next to him who knows this league, and is decent (n/o wotton)
  11. Possibly. I think the selection today was forced, with Mills out and Holmes not 100%
  12. TBH, i wouldn't want you lot to go out of business. I'd love us to both be in the premiership again one day - those games were great (ok, not the one at fratton)
  13. TBF he'd just produced a cracking double save and it was a very good header from their player - just saw it on a replay, it did go high into the top corner...and if Davis had managed to get a hand to it, it really would have been a wonder save.
  14. The problem with Adam is that he doesn't really have a 'position'. Playing him on the flanks forces our game narrow straight away - he's not the sort of player who's going to get to the byline and cross it, he'll want to come in and run at defenders. (thus often not having the strength to get through and falling over, or running into a crowd) He needs to be given a position and then learn the trade - I'd say an attacking forward, just behind the strikers - floating in between the midfield and the front players. He has got a ability to pickup pockets of space...and a pass. He has immense ability - he just needs to find his solid position on the pitch and once he does he will excel.
  15. Maybe both. Surprise at who we've managed to sign, and excitement at watching him in action...

The asking price for him is between £1m -£1.5m apparently, which isn't ''too expensive'' - esp if it's someone who gets you out of this league! Said from day one we needed to go for him, he took the **** out of us when we played Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup a couple of seasons ago. - as well as scoring the bloody winner.
  17. Blimey Worrying times for them. This is so pinnacle-esque it's untrue. Wonder if they have a ML type waiting in the background if this fails?
  18. Maybe that's why it's not such a good plan to sign near on 10 new players within a few weeks!
  19. Oh well - good effort by exeter. and even worse for Norwich 1-7 now. WTF?
  20. 2 strikers IMO. You saw when we lost Pato today - we had no one else to play, we resorted to playing Jake up there! Madness.
  21. Another positive...at least we're not Norwich.
  22. 6-1 lol Leeds 1 - 1 Exeter too ...what a great story that is. (if it stays like that)
  23. It Wasn't danny - it was his brother, Anthony.
  24. He did play well, dominated in the hair up until about 70mins, he did tire as was expected. I wouldn't say he was MOTM...he was good, but not as good as Harding who was my MOTM. - Murty close 2nd.
