It stunk for me the moment it was called off to be honest, what stinks even more is that they haven't played any of their re-arranged fixtures yet. They have a perfect opportunity in FA Cup weekend (not to play us, but another of their called off games). There have been some mid-week gaps in the last couple of weeks to replay it, it's not even been spoken about. The Brentford called off game was re-arranged pretty quickly. They want to spend their money before they play their rearranged games so they have the best possible chance to win those games, that in it's self is creating an unfair advantage given the money they have to play with. They're so short on players, so unfit etc...but perfectly fit enough to fly away to Saudi Arabia and play a 90 min dick swinging friendly match. It's so obvious what they're doing, I'm surprised some are not seeing it. The call off criteria has been changed now, so you have to have at least '4 positive' cases - Why the f**k it wasn't that before I will never know, shambles from the first minute by the PL and they've allowed this situation to manifest it's self.

Some of these people on SSN are moronic. ''Tuchel has been complaining his players are tired, they've got more games coming up. Buy new players then!'' Amazing.
-
It's not the footballer.
-
Shame Ramsey feels he has to retire this early! Still got the legs to do it in the PL in my opinion, but he's been busy rejecting PL clubs all window. Retirement it is then.
-
Might a full deal for the summer, but a loan deal today. That's how I've read it anyway.
-
Looks like Newcastle are trying to sign Yannick Carrasco, £50m. Not sure if it's a summer deal or a deal for now though.

TV's in the concourse are done as far as I know, the hold up has been the screens in the stadium bowl it's self. It's not an excuse, but the electrical chip shortage at the moment is causing havoc for electrical purchases of any type. I know certain electrical components have a 400 day lead time, so I'd be 110% sure this is the cause of the delay and nothing other than that.

If we had someone lined up, then yeah...let him go, option to buy and forget about him. Weirdly though, we've not had him for a month and I've not missed him at all. So maybe we do feel as if we can risk it.
-
Hugo Ekeitie on his way in there now, £30-35m, thats a quality young player. Re: Man City, you have to remember they didn't dive straight into Toure, Silva, Augero etc - they came 2 or 3 windows further down the line. They started off buying the likes of Gareth Barry, Lescott, Santa Cruz etc - so proven PL players. Newcastle's signings, in terms of the links feels a bit scattergun - but that's probably the media making it up for fun. You can't argue that they've signed proven PL players though. They've got the money to bin off those guys in the summer if they do job number 1.

Marina Granovskaia - she's basically Martin Semmens equivalent at Chelsea.
-
I reckon Chelsea are looking at the Emile Smith-Rowe situation, very similar. He was on loan abroad, didn't really happen - funnily enough, we were sniffing around him as well and he went to Huddersfield and ripped it up. And he pretty much never looked back and Arsenal now have a really good player who is the first name on their team sheet.

It feels like the positions we need to buy for are better suited to the summer market. It's not like we have holes in the squad, we just need better quality than we have in those positions at the moment. Number 10/attacking player for one (Aljorin guy fills that spot) and obviously a GK. That's such a huge signing for us, we need to get that right...we need our Emi Martinez/Lukas Fabianski style signing as those guys are worth points every season to West Ham/Villa. We'll probably go balls out to get Broja, but if he continues his progression here then I reckon Newcastle will just outbid us.
-
And he's his manager who works for CAA.
-
Totally different types of player. If we lost Broja, we'd lose a key component of our game which none of our forwards provide. When the inevitable happens in the summer we will need to buy a replacement type centre forward, as having someone with his pace and power has really taken our game up a level. It's not just what he does as such, it's how he allows the rest of the team to alter their style.

Yeah, 11pm tomorrow. I'm not ITK, this is just my take on the links we've had. Anjorin is going out on loan to the Championship, so that's not a goer for us. Carvalho is going to Liverpool, pretty much done and dusted. I think he'll be loaned back to Fulham for the remainder. The Broja situation isn't going to budge, the summer will decide that and sadly I think it'll probably be game over for us by then if he carries on his form. Dele Ali is still rumbling in the background for a few clubs, he needs to leave and has been told he won't play at Spurs...so he'll end up somewhere tomorrow. This is based on nothing by the way, but we usually operate like cloak and daggers and we're experts at not leaking stuff - maybe that's why all the Ali talk in the media re: all other clubs has died a death as we're the ones trying? Who knows. Not expecting anything though, truth be told. We're in an unusual position of not really requiring anything and we're in more of a 'nice to have' position.
-
I wonder if we have a sell on? I imagine he wouldn't be less than £15m, so we may get a tiny % of the fee if we did a sell on.
-
It's Charlie, I don't think he knows.
-
Optimistic people may say he'll get chances/start at Liverpool, but it will be few and far between. As said above, he has 5 or 6 internationals and premier league champions in front of him. He's at risk here of totally stagnating his career when he didn't need to, he'd have been better off moving to someone like us for a couple of years, getting a first team place every week to prove himself at the top level, and then getting his move to Liverpool once they're looking to evolve from Mane/Salah etc in a couple of years time. If it happens I think he's moved there too quickly.
-
Can't disagree with the GK, think he's an upgrade for them for sure. Not confirmed yet, but apparently going to happen. Not sure if Coady was one of their scattergun approaches when they were looking at CB, but with them now signing Burn you wonder if they'll still get him? Dembele was a great player at Dortmund, clearly has huge fitness issues though. Definitely a match winner on form. Don't think they'll get him though, Chelsea is my guess.
-
Dean Henderson off to Newcastle on loan. Looks like they'll wrap up Dan Burn for £15m as well. They're also sniffing around Conor Cody for £35m. Newcastle one of the clubs in for Ousmane Dembele. Pretty scattergun to say the least.
-
The social media is very damming (I didn't expect it to be that shocking, tbh) and given that Utd have come out in response already demonstrates that it's not just chatter, obviously needs to be an investigation to find the full facts, but it feels pretty inevitable that his career is over. Anyone doing what he's accused of needs to be locked up for a very long time.
-
Yeah, we've been mentioned in passing before. So have Brighton. Seems like a Brighton sort of signing, could follow the same pathway as Solly March.
-
Ah, looks like someone uncovered a load of previous tweets and that's done for him.
-
See no reason why the club can't get this over the line pretty quickly.
-
Everton were sniffing, they're looking at Loftus-Cheek too. Obviously Newcastle, given that he's got legs they're sniffing. There's certainly not been any 'solid' rumours though, no genuine links from club sources/local journos etc. I'm fairly sure he'll go somewhere by Monday....which makes you wonder if someone is doing a great job of keeping it under wraps.
