  1. Let's be honest, is it the managers fault in the grand scheme? No. This is the worst group of players I've ever seen. I'm not talking about pure ability, more so about attitudes, character, leadership. There’s nothing in this group, just a meek mix of utter wimps. I dislike them so much. Hoj can **** off if he's a captain. He's been half the problem since he's been here. I hope he reads this too, and JWP. Meek and characterless, this signifies the entire group. Unfortunately Ralph just hasn't had the backing, anyone can see that. Well done to our horrific ownership.
  2. Absolutely despise this stupid pathetic little man. Get the **** out of my club you utter ****.
  3. I think we're gone. If you lose like that, then you're pretty much condemned in any season. We're dead on our feet with the most dislikeable and meek group of players we’ve ever, ever had. I do believe we’ve got a good manager there, but ultimately; he’s come in at the wrong time and has had absolutely zero backing. I'm not going to bother going through the match, as I left at HT so there's no point. But to lose 9-0 at any level suggests you are not good enough for said level, so I think that's the crux of it. The inevitable has been brewing for the last 3-4 years, and it will probably finally come to roost this year. I maybe naively felt as Ralph kept us up last year, the club would genuinely back someone who is a good manager – but alas, I was wrong. Underinvestment, uninterested owners and horrific scouting have put this club back 10+ years, and to think 4 years ago we were playing in the Europa League. That's a long way from us, and there's a long road back. First thing is to get rid of that utterly pathetic little man from our club, who is supposed to be our owner. Just get him out, by hook or crook. Get someone in who can sort out the utter mess he's created and then we may have something to move towards, but whilst he’s here the club is dying week by week. But as for this season, I think it's done. Hopefully this post is bounced at the end of the season and we can have a good old laugh, but somehow I doubt it.
  4. Felt like a tourist game today, so many randoms in the crowd. Not sure if there were free tickets given out or something. **** game though, rubbish. Hoj again back to his talks a good game but can't deliver mode. Bertrand might as well have been on the bench, he was dreadful. I think we've rushed Redmond back, doesn't look quite there. Gunn needs to be dropped, absolutely awful communication AGAIN. Why can't we just throw Danso in the back 2...? He was supposed to be our 'CB' we waited so long for. I'd throw him in to be honest. Not much else to review, was pretty **** really.
  5. What on earth is going through this dudes brain at the moment? Needs some time out.
  6. I think he's a cracking coach with a good idea of how to approach games - he's just been sold a dud with this utterly horrific squad, let's be honest. It's ****. Full of absolute losers. I don't really rate Hoj, not a huge fan of Gunn. Betrand looks like he's had enough, JWP continues to flatter under any manager he ever plays for. Romeu is decent, but not top level. We just don't have top level players anymore, it's a cobbled together bunch of has beans and average players and there's no intention to improve on that because we've wasted so much money on utter ****. Don't blame the manager, blame the hand he's been dealt but the people running my club.
  7. Ahhh why is this even a topic. Look at the squad that started, same team that struggled. He has not been backed to be honest, he must be royally ****ed. I would be. He could do so much more if he had decent owners to support him, but alas he's come to us at a time when we're owned by an absolute charlatan.

Thank **** for that, get rid of the loser.
  9. Standard SFC injury mystery really. This will just roll on and on and on. No idea why we never put a figure on our players injuries.
  10. So, Vesterguard, Elyounoussi, Carrillo, Hoedt That's 66m spent on dross. Honestly need to get Ross out of this club, he can't keep doing this to us.
  11. It just feels like a common fan reaction and it frustrates me. Little bit of trouble and the knives are out, if I'm honest he has earned a hell of a lot of margin for error here given how he's made this dross squad perform. He's trying to find a solution in what is a horrible, horrible squad. And whilst he may have 'approved' the squad, I imagine it was reluctantly. He can't be happy with this team and the lack of backing he has had, let's be honest. I feel frustrated as I know he can do better with better players, but the ownership of the club won't let that happen, so he's having to find solutions with the crap he has. So we can either back the manager and let him carry on how he's doing, reality is that we're not a top half team. Or we can stamp our feet and demand more when the reality is that we're at our level right now.
  12. He is an absolutley dreadful player and as long as he is in the side, we will ship goals. Another one who we need out of this club asap.
  13. Are people honestly having this debate? What on earth is wrong with fans? Just go onto our OS, have a look through our squad page, and then tell me how you'd do with this mismash of players. It will take a good few seasons to sort the squad out and rebuild this, we have been ruined by awful transfer windows over the last 3 years and we have been left with such a dreadful team - not just in quality, but with glaring gaps in positions. People criticising the manager are just clueless really. Do you expect this group to go and beat teams like Spurs? Because I don’t, we’re not very good – face it. Until we revamp this squad, we will continue to be pretty rubbish. We can't really revamp it though as we have no money, so we might as well back the manager who has performed bloody miracles to even get us where we are.
  14. Surely having a right back at right back, and a left back at left back is the sensible approach for this one? Instantly brings balance to the side. Redmond in from the start obviously. I don't want to see Vesterguard up against Kane or Moura, so Yoshida please
  15. It felt sweet driving through Portsmouth today, unsurprisingly subdued but still full of the oddballs. Not a great display last night I didn’t think, but if I'm honest I couldn't give a flaming ****. We just done them 4-0 in their own ****ing back yard. Have that. They are so pathetically bad it's laughable really. I don't even care who we have in the next round, just the fact we did them 4-0 is amazing. Definitely a case of who the **** is laughing now...
  16. That bloke is an emotional loon, always has been.
  17. I reckon we'll see Ings start, prob keep the midfield of Romeu, Hoj, Prowse. Yoshida at the back though I reckon. McCarthy in goal is a given (he palys the cup games). Not sure about wide area's. Don't think Redmond looked fit enough on Friday, and Moussa prob won't make it.
  18. Bit of a late review on it all, but it was pretty **** all being told. All huff and puff in the 2nd half, no real quality. First half we ****ed ourselves over because we ****ed around with the back 4 again, yet to absolutely no one’s surprise we looked more balanced in the 2nd half when Bertrand was on. Something really odd going on there with him and the manager, no questions about that. Doubt he'll be around after January. But generally, the midfield was ****, apart from Romeu who put himself about. JWP just flatters, Hoj is exactly the same - they have 1 good game every 10, and then just lapse back into mediocrity. Adams struggled big style and Ings didn't do much after he came on either. Boufal was frustrating, lots of runs but very little end product (same as the Boufal we came to know and not love). Redmond looked rusty, no surprise - looked like a game too early for him if I'm honest. Don't get me started on Vesterguard, jesus f christ. Absolute oaf. Yeah, he's tall, but so am I – but I don't play football, and the jury's out on whether he should either. Honestly, dreadful. Getting pulled all over, the pace of a turtle and the turning circle of a tank. Another absolute awesome signing by the genius that is Ross. Onto Tuesday we go then, but the Bournemouth game just set us back a bit as it really did highlight our two biggest weaknesses – don’t enough goals per chances and concede too many. The recipe for quite a rubbish team, if we’re honest.
  19. He broke us though, let's be honest. We finished top half, but we were absolute toss, in my opinion. He tried to focus too much on pass, pass, pass, keep the ball for the sake of keeping it, either backwards, sideways. Always retreating, didn’t gable or take risks, we always seemed to play with fear. Never any real penetration. Maybe one or two games were different, but that’s how his reign was in the main. It went the same way at Leicester, and he turned them into a dull and turgid team too. Only now are they coming back out of their shell.

  21. Hughes really is clueless isn't he. Look what he did with both Romeu and Bedernek - probably our two most steely players right now. He just didn't have a clue what to implement here, but at least we have a coach who know appreciates having a system in play. We have a way of playing, we now need certain attributes in certain positions to aid that way of playing. This is what they give us. Not superstars, but they have the right attributes. Enough of these stupid 'pass the ball' philosophies we tried to implement with Pelligreno, Puel and Hughes - it's refreshing to be back in the hands of someone who knows what the **** he's doing.
  22. Yeah I've spoken to a Pompey fan I work with too. He said they're as bad this year as they were when they were in L2, they lost their best two players in the summer and have just regressed. Fans and players are against Jackett apparently, feels it's only a matter of time. It still feels like an almighty banana skin though. We obviously have enough, but it's all about attitude and application here. I reckon we'll throw a strong side out there.
  23. Vestergaard scares me. I feel like he's going to fall over all the time, he certainly can't keep up with anyones pace. I'm sure even I could outpace him to be honest. He's good for his height, no doubts there, and his use of the ball is decentish, but christ is an oaf. I'd keep Bednerak and stick Danso next to him to be honest. Bertrand LB, Valery or Cedric RB. Job done.

Wasn't he linked with them a while back? If we're all honest, I wouldn't shed a tear if he went. To say his results have been mixed is an understatement. Could be an opening for Mithchell to link back up with Ralph. Who knows.
  25. But still a hell of a lot better than we all feared at the time!
