  1. Or we sneak a 1-0 win with an 80th min own goal off of Adam Lallana's head. It's so big, you can't miss it.
  2. Yeah, total utter idiot for saying that. That did kind of open the door wide open. I wonder if the clear and structured plans in place were to sell everyone? There are obviously subtle digs at NC in that statement, but he was a naive idiot for going to the media with it. Totally set the tone. The new board do not fill me with any confidence what so ever. Ralf is a mumbling moron, Gareth - I'm not quite sure what he does, get the feeling he's out of his depth. Hans - statement says it all. I still think we're lucky Les stayed around, only person with any footballing sense around the place. That's why he still has my trust and I still feel we may salvage something from this unreal situation.
  3. 2 months ago:
  4. Swansea went in for him back in March. Fee for him is around £10m that Feyernord request.
  5. A dig at the fans and the club, who pay his wages. Utterly despise him now, tbh. And to think, this was from a few months ago. He never really had an affinity with the club or the fans, just the chairman, and slimy Argentine and some sort of mysterious project.
  6. We won't compete if we don't sign any players.
  7. What we're seeing is unprecedented though, and a lot of it is out of the clubs hands, in that we have seemingly managed to sign a bunch of ****s. I think we need to give the club time to see who they bring in before going in full scale meltdown mode. As I said, if in 2 weeks time we still have no new signings, Morgan and Lovern have gone, and the club are spouting spiel about how we have a good team, then we can have a full scale panic.
  8. It does annoy me tbh. Where were these bids from clubs last year? We didn't see a queue of clubs wanting to get him last year, did we? Exactly. We took somewhat of a gamble on a player in the fringes of the Lyon squad, allowed him to totally resurrect his career club wise and internationally yet he has treated us with serious disrespect. If we stopped paying him his wages, then he has every right to moan, but we've not. We're still paying him his very respectable wages I imagine, and nothing will change in that respect. Morgans and Rickie have showed how it is to be done. Morgan will most likely be off, but at least he has the decency to acknowledge the club that paid his wages before mouthing off.
  9. This is very true. As WBA and Swansea found last season, you can go from the 50+ point mark and looking pretty comfortable, to be dragged into a relegation battle the next season. And those teams didn't have their teams stripped apart either. There is a very fine line and we could well cross it, heck, jump right over it and straight into the quick sand, if we don't have a good pre-season. Still a way to go though, time for it to improve.
  10. He's probably still on the charlie.
  11. Failed at WHU all being told.
  12. I think if we sit here in 2 weeks time, on the back of RK's first couple of press calls as manager and with no new players, Lovren and Morgan gone, and OS statements such as ''We have a good bunch here already'' ''They have trained really well'' ''We will only buy if it will improve the squad'', then I think we have reason to start wondering WTF is going on, and where that £80m has vanished to. Until then, let's wait and see.
  13. It is happening, but things take time. Not entirely sure what you expected, but we're 6 days into the transfer window and 1 week into Koemans tenure. And that hash thing you do is predictably dull.
  14. TBH, it didn't seem as if Cork was ever massivley rated by MP. The start of the season is a fine example, he didn't even make the bench for the first few weeks. He only got a look in with the injuries to Wanyama, and then MP realised he was a handy option. But even with Wanyama fit, he was always the one who missed out. He didn't seem to be part of the inner circle that people go on about, that's for sure. I personally think he is a cracking player who could do a great job at teams above us, so even though I'm pleased, I'm slightly puzzled why the only interest is coming from the likes of Palace and Fulham and that the club don't see it as a major concern re: his contract either. Why isn't he as highly rated by others, as he is by the fans? Strange one, for sure.

  16. It was unbelievable that a few days ago I had an offer of 20 million pounds. It was in the morning and by the afternoon the club had said I was not for sale.
  17. As a first 11, bar a CB and a proper LB - not bad, no where near last season, but not bad. But the depth is non-existent looking at the bench. If we had a few injuries to the likes of Fonte, Clyne, Tadic, Pele - we'd lose every game in that period, by some margin I'd have thought. I'm scared that Jos seems to be getting closer to the first team again. Good lad, but never, ever ever a PL player - utter dross at this level and his presence would put us under relegation threat. This pre-season should still be used as an opportunity to replace Jos. Maybe we can do some contract/name depol changing, and sell Liverpool Jos - under the name of Lovren? Could work.
  18. Goal achieved for him then.
  19. Saint_armstrong. Has a fair few links in the media though tbf, always speaks a fair game.
  20. If he comes out with an article in the media, showing a total lack of interest in the fans of the club he's currently at, then he should expect some 'feedback'. Not that I agree with it, but he'd be a fool not to expect any comeback from what he said.
  21. Not sure what they're playing at this year to be honest. Seem to have given up competing in the PL and are building for the NPC.
