For me, I always prefer to avoid the promoted teams for the first month. The first few weeks of the season they always play with a spring and can throw some odd results in the mix. I'd prefer to start with a Newcastle/Stoke/Villa style team. Leave the recently promoted sides till October/November time.

So not much of a scoop from Crook there. Been many a time where BBC have broken a story, and then 5 mins later he pops up with ''I understand...''

Interesting suggestion re: Fellani, but not quite sure Man Utd would cut their losses just yet. It seemed they just deployed him wrong last year, I don't think he's a £30m player by any stretch - but he's better than he showed last year. He's pretty capable as a number 10.

Out of contract, Blackpool have said he's all but left them. Currently training with Inter with a view to earning a contract, that's gone quiet though, so not sure if that will occur.

They've got a collection of about 30 of the brightest young players in europe, 1 or 2 may start to get games there, but doubtful. Hate the way they search Europe signing the best young talent, not playing it, and farm it out to random leagues in Europe. A total waste of the talent pool.
