  1. Like him. I think he's got good movement, good touch and a good turn of pace - so he'd automatically add something to our side! You can tell quite quickly if a player is ready to make the step up at that point of their career, and I think Reed is. The opposite has to be said of young Sam though, he doesn't look ready at all.
  2. ...and off he goes again, with another injury.
  3. Don't think they can even do that now. It'll be the L'pool and City games live now, I'd have thought.
  4. Funny game, a complete bore fest. But we've beaten our record premiership points total, remarkable season. - especially away from home, where we have been stunning all year.
  5. Cardiff and Fulham confirmed. Norwich also gone, but yet to be confirmed. Sky's ''Survival Sunday'' plans took a battering today!
  6. Big opportunity for Sam today, although I truly don't believe he's ready, he's just there as we have no other options. Pretty frustrating really.
  7. Not sure on your specific model, but does it have a hard disk activity LED/light? I'm assuming it's an SSD disk as it's a touch screen, but I've seen this problem with them before - sounds like a failed disk, or one that is about to fail IMO. When a system becomes unresponsive with everything, but you can still use the mouse....then it's often a sign that you've got spyware/virus, and if it's not that....a faluting hard disk.
  8. Who on twitter? Out of every 100 tweeters, only 1 is usually accurate. And wouldn't they have to approach us first, seeing as he's under contract.
  9. I think he's been outstanding, wouldn't swap him for anyone else.
  10. Well, we followed that rule in L1 and the Championship...
  11. He's 18 years old and has played like an experienced top class top flight player, yes, he's been amazing.
  12. Sums up what a truly amazing season it has been for us league wise, anyone who has a moan is clearly off their rocker.

    Jack Cork

If Cleverley can be in and around the squad, then so can Cork. Heck, if Cleverley can play for England then so can I! http://www.tomcleverley23.com/
  14. lol that would be simply ridiculous on all levels.
  15. You are the true king of jumping to conclusions. Congratulations on another one.
  16. Isn't 8th on 52 points already pretty comfortable? And it's the same with every club, you win some and you lose some. I expect Swansea fans are looking at us wondering how we got Lovren so cheaply, compared to their signing of Flores.
  17. Yep, he's their captain too.
  18. Unfortunately we've not developed a decent CB though! (I'd say that's one area where England lack any international class player) Last pure academy CB I remember being raved about was young Ollie Lancashire, although to be fair to him...he's made a decent career for himself at Rochdale.
  19. I think any striker signing is a gamble to be honest, because they cost a hell of a lot and take away most of the transfer budget. Lukaku would be a decent fit for what we're after, or even Benteke - someone with a bit of pace and power to lead the line, that would make a huge difference. Perfect window for me.. David Marshall, Lukaku, Astori. Job done. Keep everyone we want to keep and promote the likes of Tagget, Reed and Simms to more prominent roles in the first team, and then the world is our oyster. I realise I'm dreaming though!
  20. Altidore, seriously, what is he? He's certainly not a footballer. He tries a bit, but needs to go back to his day job - whatever that may be. Osvaldo fairly makes it in, trash heap player. I hope we're not stuck with him as our record signing for too long, almost as bad as being stuck with £4m for Rory Delap over your head for 10 years!
  21. Needs to be locked up! Waste of oxygen, and how depressing to think that he's probably already earning more than me.
  22. It's not just about lacking 1 player in my eyes, we just don't have a big enough squad to challenge up that end.
  23. We've had so many. Cork, Adam, Davis, Lovren, Shaw, Chambers......this is a 9/10 season fro me.
  24. Our midfield is as strong as it's ever been in recent history.
  25. That game was controlled from start to finish. We didn't create many openings, but we didn't really need to - as Everton did that for us! Our control of the game from the middle was immense though, and the performance today was very similar to the performances at the start of the year. Our defensive shape and positioning was top notch, and Victor Wanyama is the main reason for that. A fit Wanyama is like going out there with a back 5, his strength is beyond question, but also his defensive mind - he spots and sniffs out danger before it's even there, very important player for us.
