  1. Something like this? Not sure what your budget is. [h=1]PURE Chronos CD Series II, DAB/FM/CD Stereo Clock Radio - Black[/h] http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B002OOWBVQ/ref=pd_lpo_k2_dp_sr_1?pf_rd_p=103612307&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B000UYWKMW&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=087W9G5STVHH7G1B06G2
  2. Agree we to need someone else to pickup the gauntlet up front. Rickie can't be expected to score every week. We are starting to be a little predictable in our build up though, although we're still creating chances which has to be a positive. Will worry when we stop doing that. Not sure what Forren getting fit has to do with that though? He's a CB.
  3. If QPR stay up at the expense of us, I will stop following football.
  4. Wigan QPR Reading in that order 17th Villa, 16th Us.
  5. Norwich are fine, no issues there. They will just plod along from now until the end of the season. 3 or 4 points from 27 isn't going to be an issue. I see the troubled sides being....QPR, Reading, Wigan, Villa, Ourselves, Sunderland and maybe Newcastle, but I doubt it come the end.
  6. and lively against Spurs, caused all sorts of problems.
  7. and free kicks!!! I've not seen him take a decent one yet. Seems to be allergic to beating the first man. Overall though, I thought it was one of his better away days yesterday. Put himself into the forefront rather than playing on the fridges. Now, Lallana was completely anonymous it has to be said. A bit of a role reversal there.
  8. Look at Sunderland and Reading....right at the bottom. And Wigan are level on pts anyway, so we've both been as bad. I don't know if it's blind faith or whatever, but I keep looking at our remaining fixtures and comparing those with the teams around us and I think we'll be fine - not as comfortable as I thought we'd be, but that's another debate. Sunderland are in deep, deep **** though. I thought they'd start to pull away but after their game against Norwich next week they've got....Man Utd, Chelsea, Newcastle, Everton back to back. Ouch. If they don't beat Norwich then they are absolutely screwed.

    It's that BBC agenda again
  12. If you bothered to see what the Sunderland fans thought about him, you'd see that a fair few can't stand him. There's no denying that he has been an absolute disaster for them this season, signed with a big fan fare but has delivered zilch. The jury is well and truly out. http://www.readytogo.net/smb/showthread.php?t=765685
  13. I think his last appearance went against him somewhat! (He was pretty forgettable against QPR). Looking back on it, I don't think there was a great deal wrong with our attack - albeit it was a little too static at times, we're just incredibly blunt when it matters at the moment. Lallana needs to learn how to shoot.
  14. He's just one of the many wums that now run this site. I'd say just ignore them, but it's getting harder as there are so many now. Struggle to have decent debates here these days. Full of sly/sarcastic comments aimed to catch posters out for ''bites''.
  15. Tough game, to be fair to Rogers he has got them playing quite consistently lately and they seem to have a nice balance about them. Sturridge has made a big difference to their final 3rd play and they have much more cutting edge now, and obviously in Suarez they have one of the best players in Europe. I remember when he hit that hat-trick for Ajax all those years ago at SMS, you could tell he was off to big things! They do play the same as us though, very rarely do they launch it long. They play in triangles and play neat 1-2's between the likes of Gerrard, Lucas and Allen. Defensively I'd still say they're a bit suspect though, so hopefully we can actually test them with some decent deliveries for a change. (Someone, please, take Gaston to the side and advise that the whole point of a set piece is to beat the first man) Goes without question that we'll need Clyne back for this one, as his pace will be pretty important as I can see them breaking on us quite a few times. Would pop Maya back at CB alongside Fonte and obviously keep Shaw at LB. I think the rest of the team I'd keep the same. The attack should cause them problems, but we just need someone else to start popping up consistently scoring goals - and Lallana needs to start hitting shots cleanly! Won't be easy, but this is one I'd say we can win if we play as we can and Liverpool are slightly off. Quite looking forward to it to be honest.
  16. He was very confident all game and very commanding of his area. Makes it so much easier for the CB's when your keeper constantly takes control as he did today. Sign him up.
  17. But am I right in thinking that this transfer didn't even involve an agent? Nicola Cortese sorted all this on his own back without any third party.
  18. Sunderland dropping like a stone. Reading playing as bad as they have all year. Villa won their first game in god knows how long. Wigan won 3-0 in a cup game, which only adds to their schedule. Their game in hand is Man City away. A way to look at ti is that we've extended the gap today, but probably should have been a bit more. But it's a bit silly to say that teams around us are hitting form.
  19. Probably absolutely no change what so ever. Still scrapping away, picking up points here and there. Which still kind of begs the question as to why we even bothered to change.
  20. A slightly OTT reaction right there! It was generally an awful game, but it wasn't en embarrassment was it?
  21. yep, totally. WTF Jos and Fonte were doing though is beyond me.
  22. I'm a big fan of Jay, but he was poor today. Static and a lack of movement, offered nothing other than some wild unctrolled shots.
  23. Not a right back.
  24. We've never really had a problem scoring over the course of the season, we're starting to look worryingly ineffective though. Deep deep in the mire when we should be pulling away. Decision isn't being justified.
  25. Late drama, but that last kick just summed up the game as a whole really. Complete dross, lack of any quality from either side. Only quality came from the GK's! We've gone backwards in terms of an attacking threat. We are so blunt now.
