  1. To be fair, Man City paid £28m for Silva. Chelsea paid 20m for Mata. Both of those 2 eased into life in the PL, and didn't really get going until their 2nd full season with the club. That's why staying up this year is massive. I dread to think what will happen if we don't. The fall out doesn't bear thinking about, which is why i'm trying not to think about it!
  2. Wouldn't expect too much different from today, maybe just Lallana in for Puncheon. Forren has an injury.
  3. 2nd half was great, and we had more much about us in the final third. You'd pay to watch us like that But posession football bugs the hell out of me when you don't go anywhere with it, or try to make an extra pass when it's easier to shoot etc like we did in the first half. Puncheon was guilty of that today, and is quite often tbh.
  4. He's clearly a very talented player, but doesn't really turn up away from home. Away he seems to float around the pitch like a feather, being knocked over by anyone who blows at him. Good player, but at the moment very lightweight.
  5. He was written off by some way too early. Always rated him, ability wise he has what it takes to play for England and I still stand by that. I think he's a classy player.
  6. Sounded great on the stream. Only fans I could hear. Wigan predictably un-supported.
  7. Totally, I'm optimistic with the way we're playing but this was Wigan tbh, we were 2-1 up with 4 mins to go, we didn't win the others around us did and we now have Man City and Newcastle up next.
  8. We didn't lose. 3 games is no time to judge if he's good, or crap. Nothing has really changed.
  9. I did, we played bloody brilliantly and scored a great goal to go 2-1 up on 85 mins. We still didn't win. That's why this is a very bad result. Not a bad performance, but a bad result. That's not going to do the players confidence much cop either.
  10. I see this one as a step back if I'm honest. Deflated as anything at the moment. We will not get many more game slike this, where the oppo are so ****. Wigan were hopeless, were dominated, yet we still didn't win. I'm so cheesed off because with the other results, we are right back in the **** with 2 tough games coming up. This was our chance to pull away, but we've been pulled back.
  11. Should have won that, we can't keep failing to win these games. It's a nightmare result in the circumstances. Absoloutley deflated.
  12. That is an absoloute nightmare of a result, no 2 ways about that.
  13. Puncheon off, JWP On
  14. The slight problem we have, is, who replaces him? We now no longer have any options.
  15. I am going to live to regret this game if we can't grab this.
  16. Rubbish puncheon
  17. Wonderful play by Luke Shaw, absoloute bale-esque.
  18. Jesus, should have scored.
  19. Yoshida has had a nightmare against Di Santo today.
  20. Bit more final third umph from us now.
  21. A proper goal by Lambert, Brave, brave player. The only one you'd want in that position 1-1 - game is now ours to win.
  22. What is puncheon trying to do exactly?
  23. why have they stuck cork at RB? he was running the midfield. Can only assume Clyne had an injury.
  24. The most frustrating thing from today is that Wigan are so there for the taking. But we've not shown any sort of quality to hurt them.
