  1. Morgan went on a stroll as well, for sure. He didn't close down anything all night. It was still a pretty ****ty attempt at a block by Yoshida though. I hate it when defenders just fling their leg a little at a shot, without any conviction what so ever, and then looked stunned in that it's lead to a deflected goal.
  2. He's not going anywhere, yet. I'm very loyal towards him, and I find it hard to really call for him to go as I think he's such a top bloke. He's been a huge success for us in even getting us here, but you do need to take a look at what's going on this year and you wonder if he's got here too quickly, as well as the team. I think he'll make a good PL manager in time, hopefully it's with us, but the clock is certainly ticking. To be honest I'd prefer to have him at the helm during these crucial 4 weeks than a 2-week caretaker period and then a new manager, for me...that will just make us even more rudderless during a time where we need to get the results. I'd trust Nigel and I am fully behind him for what will be a huge 4 weeks. Let's all re-group and bloody well start this flaming season already.
  3. I did think Yoshida was supposed to be a decent footballing centre half, but he looks very last ditch in everything he does and very panicky. May be confidence, but apart from the Villa game, I've not been too impressed.
  4. Guly is a left-field shout! I'd go for Mayuka personally. Natural width either side, a natural number 10 in behind a lively, pacey centre forward. Not too bad. But then you've got our defense. Oh well.
  5. That's it, basically. Summed up nicely and is exactly how I see it. I can't see our fans would be enjoying the NPC if we were losing away at Wednesday and Hull 5-0. Oh, we did that didn't we.
  6. Can imagine what he says to the lads is exactly the same as we hear! ''Right lads, let's do this for this fantastic football club. Look at those fantastic fans out there, they have been great towards you and you need to reward them. They're sticking with us and we need to make sure it stays that way. ''They're a hard working bunch of fans.....etc!"
  7. Interesting, but you can't say we're not giving in a fair crack at this. He deserves it too, and personally I'd prefer to have him as manager during these next few weeks as opposed to a care-taker and then a new guy. Back to basics, get the points, reassess in December.
  8. I think we'd be a little insulting to his intelligence to assume he's not trying that. Last night we weren't particularly open in my eyes, it was a kind of back to basics 4-4-2 display (or 4-2-4 when attacking). Decent shape about us throghout the team, but what can Adkins do when the CB decides to turn his back and flick a little foot at the ball? I don't think you can coach that, that comes natural as anticipation. Yoshida should have come towards the player and really stopped him from shooting. That goes down as an individual error for me, again. 2nd goal, Fox gets done on the wrong side. Great pace by Odimwinge, but Fox was on the wrong side. Again, I don't think you can coach that. It's just mistakes made by players who just don't seem capable up against half decent forwards. Yoshida is actually starting to worry me, as he looks pretty rubbish.
  9. Fail.
  10. He looks a little flat, but I can imagine he's as down as the rest of us. This wasn't the season he wanted or probably expected.
  11. The start of a huge, deciding, set of fixtures. Ramirez needs to play in behind the striker, not out on the flank and I'd be inclined to go with Rodriguez as he looks like he has much more life to him at the moment. I'd also be willing to put W-P in the middle in place of Davis, who was awful last night. Although he could easily replace either Morgan or Davis and neither could complain. Back 4, unfortunately, picks it's self.
  12. what the ****?
  13. People seem to be working their way down the league. Now we're bottom, is it safe to say that we can't expect to win against anyone as they're higher than us?
  14. Fair play to you for making the effort, thought our fans sounded superb on the TV.
  15. I will bring up a point raised by a few others. Did you see Stoke staying up with an 11 featuring Fuller, Delap, Higgnbottom, Wheelan, Griffin, Simonsen...? Now in my opinion we have better players than those, that may be blind faith, but I believe Morgan, Lallana, Rameriz, Clyne etc are a hell of a lot better than those. I think much worse sides have stayed up. We've got the quality in positions, but lack it in 1 or 2 area's. But it's a bit dramatic to say that none of our players are premiership material, that's a pretty enormous knee-jerk.
  16. I like Cork, but why is he suddenly the massaih? He's not that good.
  17. I think Gaston would leave, Lallana has shown enough in previous games to pickup some suitors. Can imagien Clyne will be picked off, as well as Morgan - but not if he continues to play like that. W-P will probably be looked at, and maybe even Shaw. Basically anyone who has looked decent this season will be gone.
  18. Yeah, that didn't do them a great deal of good in all honesty.
  19. So am i, and they all confirm that NC is a complete and utter power freak. But he's got the results up until now, but he's going to be tested now.
  20. It is, but it's the bare minimum to give us some sort of chance. Any less than that, and it truly is over.
  21. The next 6 will decide our season. If we're not on at least 10 points by the end of the reading game then we're gone, long gone. Done and dusted.
  22. The fact that you are now resulting to personal insults, indicates that you have lost the argument quite emphatically and are continuing to make yourself look a bit of a pillock. He wasn't the worst out there tonight, and your post wasn't helped with the fact that you thought Harding would improve things.
  23. I don't think he's that bad, but his good movement is being let down by his awful touch, which isn't something you'd usually associate with him. We're not exactly the place for young players to thrive at the moment, which is why I think young W-P has been dragged out of the firing line.
  24. He was horrific tonight. Painful to watch. I don't think he's been our best player this season, he's had a couple of good games, but is starting to look worryingly lightweight against any midfielder with a bit of strength.
