  1. As of a couple of days ago we'd sold 360, not a bad turn out but nowhere near selling out.
  2. Each game has its on thread on away fan forum.
  3. I'm sure they will. If the club were just interested in selling tickets and getting as many fans there as possible they would already be but cynically I think they are hoping to make a few quid on people buying £25 memberships, easy money for the club really.
  4. Talking to a bloke at work who went last night as a neutral, his opinion was; - West Ham looked like a side with no confidence, fans around him just moaning. - stewarding at the ground seemed unorganised, with no one seeming to know how to manage a crowd. That's a particularly interesting point with this in the news http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/37348308 Hard to tell how this game will go, would be fantastic to keep the good run going but West Ham are bound to turn it around at some point. I'll predict 1-1.
  5. Yes there is, fast train is just one hour. Shame you won't get much time in Bologna as it's a nice place. Over the years I've done several England away games and to avoid high flight and hotel prices have often used this method going via somewhere and taking a train. It saves money and actually makes more of a trip of it, not so good if you like to be bussed in and out travel club style but for an adventure I'd say flying to Bologna, Turin, Genoa or Verona, all under 2 hours train from Milano Central and you get a chance to visit somewhere else en route. worth pre-booking your train on Trentitalia for cheapest prices. Plenty of cheaper air fares for those with the time to plan and don't mind a train journey at the other end.
  6. Not sure if it has changed since you looked, and i don't seem able to attach a screenshot, but when you go to the Milan website, click on our game and hover over the different ticket categories it highlights the area that is included, when i hover over away fans it highlights the whole lower tier behind the goal, will be great if that is the case, much nearer the pitch.
  7. We won't sell all 8700 but great news we've got the tickets so anyone who wants to go now can. seems strange that Saints are delaying putting them on general sale which is by far the biggest group of people still waiting to buy. Assume they are hoping to cash in on a few buying memberships. as flight costs have gone up it is left to the more resourceful fans to find a way out there, plenty of reasonably priced flights to cities that are a couple of hours by train to Milan, if anything a great opportunity to make more of a trip of it. Should imagine the club are speaking to the operators about running another flight on official trip. When was the last time we had 8700 as an away following (not counting cup finals) ?
  8. Pardew has a track record of playing strong teams in the cups and i think he'll put out a number of 1st team players tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how that side gets on, but i think we'll lose. Ticket sales are very low for this, hopefully Palace bring a couple of thousand to push the attendance up to a more respectable number.
  9. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/news/article/2016-17/20160920-ticket-update-internazionale-southampton-3317182.aspx still 2000 tickets left for Inter Milan, will definitely reach members sale in my opinion.
  10. I thought we played well, clearly the better team and on another day could have been 5-0. The ref didn't give us anything in the first half and from my angle it looked like a penalty with the defender sliding in getting no where near the ball. Decent noise from the Northam and Itchen north, I was in Kingsland centre for a change and the negativity of many fans did my head, booing, grumbling throughout, one old boy just shouting "get it forward" aimlessly. I like what Redmond offers us going forward but he does need to work at his finishing, with him and Long on the pitch you do feel we need several chances per goal which will cost us at times. All in all an excellent week for Saints, it will be interesting to see what side we play against Palace would be good to get a run going.

    Swansea Game

Didn't Puel say Rodriguez picked up a knock on Thursday? I would start Austin personally .
  12. i think it is a bit more than that, blocks 43 and 44 are already sold out to Saints fans in the bundle so we'll have the whole Northam full. The big gaps are in the family area, i think there is a good case to de-classify that for games like this and just let anyone buy there instead of having to have a junior with you.
  13. That's decent for Sparta Prague away, should imagine a few were put off booking up with the anticipated small allocation. Fingers crossed we don't experience what Borrussia Monchengladbach fans have tonight and have a match postponed due to weather. i've just booked for Be'er Sheva away , they are up to seat 282 now after half a day of general sale so not looking like we'll have that many there.
  14. well that's strange as on the official site, http://www.saintsfc.co.uk it says; OFFICIAL AWAY TRAVEL We will be offering official away travel to the San Siro. The package is priced at £329 and includes your match ticket, return flights from Bournemouth to Milan on the day of the game (flying at 7am and returning at midnight), coach transfers from St Mary’s to Bournemouth airport and all ground transfers in Milan, as well as the coach back from Bournemouth airport to St Mary’s. 15. i wouldn't pay too much attention to that number, unlike Be'er Sheva we would have allocated tickets to one side for corporate sponsors and the official trip (which includes a match ticket) so like Midgetland they won't want to risk selling all the tickets and be left with a half empty flight, so they will have reserved part of the allocation for the official package.
  16. Nice one Steve. I'd assume a few more would have sold throughout the day now it's on sale to any season ticket holder, but I don't think we'll top 500 max. Few empty seats down the front would be good to put some flags out as not many opportunities for that with lack of fences.
  17. Thank you for your reply and apologies for my error, I caught up with Claude Puel on Saturday who confirmed as you rightly suspected we of course will not be trying to beat Be'er Sheva
  18. Thank you for taking the time to post some interesting information, a lot of it will be wasted on most fans travelling who will most likely stay in Tel Aviv by the beach and be bussed in and out of Be'er-sheva. I am visiting Jerusalem for two nights, then staying in Be'er-sheva for one , is there any advice you would give for travel between Jerusalem and Be'er-sheva? Are there any interesting sights for tourists in Be'er-sheva or nearby area? For the bars you mentioned in town how much would one beer normally cost? Where do the home fans usually gather before the match? Do you think you will bring many fans to the return fixture in Southampton? Have you already sold out the stadium for our match? Should mean a good atmosphere, does your club produce a match programme in English? What about road signs are they all in Hebrew? I can't see us ending your unbeaten home record with Clueless Claude as the boss.
  19. i'll probably get mine sometime on Tuesday afternoon when they go on general sale so will report back on what number i am, there was never going to be an issue in getting tickets for this one, despite the small allocation. it could have been much worse in terms of cost / visas , i think we've been quite lucky with the draw.
  20. They said when ticket details were first announced that they would all be printed tickets, didn't explain why, but I was pleased as nice to have a proper stub for prestigious games. I haven't received any yet but some I know who purchased the bundle have already received tickets for all 3 games.
  21. Did they mention any other drop offs available? i might sign up and say i'm staying with a pal in the Gaza strip
  22. how were you able to see that? will be interesting if we can track sales to give an idea of how many left as they enter each sales period.
  23. Agreed, quite a funny location for the TV studio as well , plenty of fencing to hang flags from as well, and it looks like that is the usual segregated away section so whatever that normally holds you'd expect Saints to get. For people worried about tickets for this one it is important to remember that where Saints run an official trip this include a ticket as part of the package , with the number of people already booked independently for this you may find you can qualify for a ticket by waiting for packages to drop to season ticket holders with fewer away games. Sparta Prague at home is on open general sale now and there are surprisingly loads of tickets available all around the ground, a lower than expected take up by season ticket holders. Especially high availability in the family area.
  24. I thought out of all of them Sparta would bring the most thanks to the number of Czechs who live in the South East of England, would be nice if they at least bring that 900 , need that to build the atmosphere and help create a European night feel to the game. Plenty of seats left in Chapel and Family area so hopefully Northam end is full and stood all game - having block 43 sat down at league games definitely has an impact on reducing atmosphere I think.
  25. Why bother posting something like this? A quick Google search would show you Sport Ops have been around for years and run trips for every team that gets into Europe and England games. Plenty of people I know have used them and never been let down, sometimes costs a bit more than booking independently but ideal for fans who like everything to be arranged stress free. I'd recommend them.
