Great side this lot, hope they can get to the final of this FA Youth Cup , many at the game tonight?
-
The way we approached Luton, paid up his contract and persuaded him to come tells you someone on the board really really wanted him to be our manager, I can't understand why but they're obviously still convinced he's the man for the job
-
That's the one "pieces of silver" wasn't it. Strachan was funny, he didn't have much time for those sort of things

24 hour party people, in some ways can enjoy the good times more once you've lived through the bad Having said that a good mate of mine follows Swindon Town home and away and would consider making 3rd round of the FA Cup a memorable season so its all relative I suppose
-
Surely doing a #JonesOut hashtag on twitter is enough?

It's my belief that history is a wheel. "Inconsistency is my very essence" -says the wheel- "Rise up on my spokes if you like, but don't complain when you are cast back down into the depths. Good times pass away, but then so do the bad. Mutability is our tragedy, but it is also our hope. The worst of times, like the best, are always passing away".

I expect Wolves to win anyway - our home form has been dreadful for so long way before Jones became manager. I still can't get onboard with the hatred that a lot of fans are displaying, all becoming a bit of a pantomime, might as well get behind the team and the new signings during the game , boo at the end, display banners, chase cars down the street whatever but for the 90 mins get behind the team.

Try setting some fireworks off outside the players hotel the night before our next game, seemed to work before
-
Will be hard to beat the fans forum when Rupert Lowe stood up and read out a letter from a "fan" praising what a good job he was doing, first class comedy and well delivered
-
Hi, can I just say how great it is to have the opportunity to come into the club today and congratulations to the panel for getting those deals done on transfer deadline day, I'm really excited to see the new signings play. It's also brilliant that you've enhanced my match day experience in block 31 the padded seat is so comfortable!

I hear what you're saying and I've allowed myself to get down as well, but it's mad really, we've just been in a cup semi final, made a club record breaking signing in the transfer window with owners who for once don't want to win the NetSpend Cup, there should be a lot to be positive about. What I don't understand is Jones main metric is getting results on a low budget, why did SR spend so long tracking him when they were prepared to spend some money
-
We even paid Luton compensation to buy him out of his contract with them!!!
-
I was just thinking that, must have been a lot of money put on Jones to be next manager sacked for odds to drop like they did, hope no one lost too much on that

Just noticed it's the FA Youth Cup game at St Mary's tomorrow night as well against Fulham, I'd missed that but would expect a lot of fans at St Mary's for that as well
-
Also in a season where cup draws have been kind to give us a real chance of Wembley but not in a position to take advantage of it
-
The psychology around his recruitment is also interesting, this wasn't a job he applied for begging us to give him a chance, it was Saints that went after him and from what I understand it was us begging him to come. Maybe deep down he knows it was the wrong decision to take the job, must be regretting it
-
I actually agree to some extent, not a fan of the personal attacks, he doesn't deserve that and has had to put up with it since arriving really , don't think it reflects well on the fans but we've had so much rubbish for years someone was always going to take the brunt of fans frustration
-
In some ways this should really count as his first game in charge as its not been his team playing his way yet. Reset the ratio and get the new manager bounce
-
We'll see a different Saints in this one, no more compromising, the real Nathan Jones is in the house and is going to show you what he can do
-
I wouldn't say I hate him, Saints board persued him and made him a good offer to leave Luton to join us, not all the blame is with him
-
Agree, Brentford away was just as bad with Ralph at the wheel
