What Tosh Allardyce has been doing it for years, we were always handicapped because of the wage structure we had in place, decent free's are available every summer if you pay the signing on fee and the wages

Not true You can give them a 1 year contract with option to extend (almost a years trial if you wish, certainly 6 months) then they either go for free next summer if not up to scratch or you sign them on for another 2 years
