  1. Jesus Christ, calm down mate. Yes it was frustrating (very) not to score again but we were good 2nd half, totally dominating a (supposed) title favourite. It will come good if we keep playing like that.
  2. Or it might click some of the time and not others and we carry on being an ok team not fighting to stay up.
  3. A tad negative after that 2nd half performance Adrian. We were our usual painfully boring selves in the first half but - to my surprise - looked far more threatening in the 2nd half against a team who many have tipped as potential title winners. Frustrating (extremely) again that we still couldn't score but that 2nd half definitely offers hope. I don't think United will win the league by the way, flattering to deceive at the moment, very lucky to win that today.
  4. Feck my old boots we're actually having a bit of a go this half!!
  5. It didn't go over the line between the posts.
  6. It's just lack of options really if we are going to insist on playing this formation all the time. Give Gabby a go but then he'd be playing out of position so probably wouldn't work. It's 2 out of Redmond, Tadic and Boufal. All of them have been uninspiring at best crap at worst all season and most of last.
  7. It was Tadic. His defending is as lacking in urgency as his attacking.
  8. I know its United, they are very good this year but fux sake we simply do not look like ever scoring with these players and formation. Redmond and Tadic plod out week after week behind an isolated lone attacker and the same non-threatening, non-entertaining, lethargic cr@p unfolds.
  9. Fair shoulder barge!
  10. Much much better today though Palace made it easy by standing off us. Still could have easily drawn or even lost that though when you consider Palace's chances (Well done Fraser). Both the big signings looked very good today so hopefully the black box isn't broken after all. Our build up play continues to be too slow though - Redmond culpable again.
  11. Early kick off means more of my Saturday will be ruined if we lose. Come on Saints it's time to give us something to be positive about.
  12. Good summary, especially the bit about Redmond and Boufal both being sh!t.

    Boufal

Come on Pilch one. I know it's been an emotional day and it WAS a one 1star AWFUL shot but we've all shanked them in our time.
  14. stknowle

    Boufal

Redmond ain't going to cut it either. Not as a genuine top level player anyway.
  15. stknowle

    Boufal

I don't think he's going to cut it, I really don't. Obviously has skill and can beat a man but more is required to succeed at this level like knowing when to pass and being able to compete physically.
  16. Don't see what the OP has said to make him a c*nt whatsoever.
  17. Never started a thread before but the inexplicable disappearance of the PMRT this season has forced my hand................. Anyway, my good god that was awful today. AWFUL. We have some serious serious issues to sort. ONE goal from open play in TWELVE matches, basically a third of a season. FFS.
  18. Surely he'll be in next game. This simply can't continue, Forster is as bad at saves as Long is at shots.
  19. I have absolutely had enough of that c*nt. He is ****ing useless.
  20. And we're "progressing" from a team that can't take chances to a team that can't create them in the first place.
  21. Really feckin poor I'm afraid.
  22. "Mane situation" my arse.
  23. Tadic is really starting to annoy me. Skilful but just no urgency about him. When Gabbiadini had that shot which went straight at the keeper today Tadic was well placed for a simple ball and a far easier chance with no defender near him (as opposed to Gabi who had a defender right in front and was hurt by him trying to block the shot). You could argue Gabi should have seen him - perhaps he did and ignored him - but Tadic a/didn't look as if he was screaming for the pass and b/didn't look ****ed off when he didn't get it (no arms in the air or demonstrating with Gabi). No killer instinct.
  24. Not sure he will still feel lucky after that terrible miss.
  25. Happy with a point in the end but they battered us for long periods and if he ever has aspirations to be a top player Redmond HAS to score easy chances like his first half one on one. Man of the match - Huddersfield fans, sounded like a total riot for the entire match which is only ever going to help their players.
