We'll see. Will need to see a run of decent attacking performances against poorer opposition before before being swayed. Obviously has done well last 2 matches though and sincerely hope it continues. Would love him to be a huge success.
Sounded feckin unlucky and obviously extremely disappointing to lose so late on, but I'll take only positives from this. City are quite arguably the best team on the planet right now and we took them the full distance after looking utter sh!t for the vast majority of the season. Things may be coming together at last.
??? We have played well, taken our chances, won comfortably, and people are pleased but they shouldn't be because we could have missed our chances and not won.
Was that not a bit sarcastic though? Sounded like the initial cheer was but then perhaps got drowned out by genuine applause. TBH the fact there was any sort of reaction to such a routine bit of goalkeeping tells it's own story about how cr@p he's been.
Austin will score goals at whatever team and level he plays at. It's what he does. Just a natural goalscorer. He may not be the fittest or most mobile but WTF cares when he's good at doing what is required to win football matches. Biggest issue with him is injuries.
I honestly think if they went down it would be the best thing that has ever happened in the whole history of football. Silly ******s coming on here to gloat about poaching Koeman. Poetic justice never had more relevance.
We should sell him. Hoedt/Yoshi/Stephens perfectly adequate for this league. We've probably cost ourselves money by not selling the malcontent C U N T in the summer.
Rooney taking a bit of a caning for trying to blame Forster for that goal. I'm all for calling Forster out as a **** when he is a ****. He wasn't a **** today.
Without wishing to defend him too much because I think he's a ****ing lumbering liability, I think that goal had more to do with quality of shot than inadequacy of goalkeeper. Totally understand if you see things differently.
It isn't very thin paper though is it. If we'd scraped a single goal victory after a streaky performance that would be very thin paper. We smashed them.
Jesus Christ what a relief to see a quality performance AT LAST. So we've proven we can do it, now we have to keep doing it. Maybe this manager might have it in him after all.
