  1. I’d say it was more realistic than pessimistic. We’ve won 3 out of our last 18 home games (Jesus Christ) so realistically winning 3 from the remaining home fixtures does not seem that likely.
  2. Why not? Not exactly a problem is it.
  3. I am sorry to hear your day panned out like this.
  4. So have I now.
  5. No he wasn't. He has been awful (quite often) this season but today he wasn't.
  6. I know what you mean but I was a simply outstanding footballer in all aspects of the game EXCEPT heading which I simply could not get to grips with.
  7. Yes, absolutely. I think he is a clueless idiot and look forward to the day I wake up and find out he's been sacked. Tomorrow would be good.
  8. ****'s sake they weren't "there for the taking" were they. Today was a good performance against a good side. The basic point that it's the crap performances and results against the crap teams in this league that is the problem is correct but Spurs were not "there for the taking".
  9. That was good today, we battled away and ground out a point against a team far more talented than ours. JWP, Romeu, Bertrand, Cedric, JWP, PEH, Tadic all did well. No lack of effort at all. It's still hard to accept this team is below Brighton, Newcastle, Huddersfield to name just 3. Only 4 points off 10th which shows you how blocked up with crap this league is.
  10. Generally doing quite well I guess but I will be amazed if Spurs don't score at least once more. Our centre backs are an issue, Wesley ain't a senior partner yet but that's the role he's having to fill with Stephens in there.
  11. Yeah, I think we should have more pro Pellegrino threads, what with the great job he's doing and all that.
  12. You'd like to think so Fry
  13. Unfair on Boufal. He tries.
  14. Agree, but we can't sack all the players.
  15. So many **** teams in this league - Huddersfield, Swansea, West Brom, Stoke, Brighton all utter dogsh!t. Watford on almost as bad a run of form as us, Everton falling away again, Wham and Palarselol and Bournemouth improved but still not all that. We are still right in amongst these teams despite how **** we've been (in the relegation zone but still only 5 points off top half FFS). We can get out of this, quite easily I would say, but not with this clown in charge of us. It won't take a managerial genius to get us out of this. Please, please, please sack him.
  16. We would. Which is why our failure to act despite it being obvious for MONTHS now that we need to is all the more enraging. I simply do not understand it. Perhaps being in the bottom 3 and getting battered by Spurs will finally force some action but who do we get in now?
  17. Me too, surely most of us would. It’s clear he isn’t the only problem but equally clear he’s the biggest problem.
  18. Agree. Once again that is on the Manager. Read a few comments on here suggesting that we don't make a conscious decision to sit back we just get overrun because we get tired and can't compete - Well ****ing up the training and get us fit so we can compete then.
  19. I don't think that team would do well in the championship.
  20. Yep, we've shown today we can throw a 2 nil lead away as well as we can a 1 nil lead.
  21. All optimism and positivity about this team has been sucked away by the idiot in charge of it. No amount of alcohol is going to change that.
  22. If we really needed any evidence that our woes were all down to having Van Dijk hanging around the place we surely have it now.
  23. Need to sit back and invite pressure on now, hopefully hang on to sneak through to the next round.
  24. Our star has been on the rise for the best part of a decade but, without Abramovich level investment it was virtually impossible for it to rise further and now it's on the wane. No real surprise really, not that disappointing, we were always going to have a downturn at some point and to that extent we are where we are because of the size and wealth of our club. The extent, speed and gradient of the decline has come as a shock though. I was expecting a decline to the extent that we would be a relatively comfortable mid-table Premier League team, hopefully for years to come - the financial cards are stacked against the promoted teams each season so this is not unrealistic. We may still get that, but just as likely right now is relegation,, principally because we have an utter clown in charge of the team. That's where we are, we don't need be there, and we wouldn't be if we we had a competent manager.
