  1. Yes, and he was utter shyte as well.
  2. He's been thrown to the wolves though. No way a senior centre back at this stage of his career but that's the role he's being asked to play. W@nker Les at fault again, never even a hint of us looking for another cb in the window despite the obvious need.
  3. Well, that and our central defence is totally inadequate.
  4. Come on we can ****ing get something out of this.
  5. I think we've done alright apart from obviously Hoedt's **** up. It's the gash performances against weak teams that'll ultimately cost us, not games like this.
  6. **** me that was amateurish from Hoedt. And he's our main man in defence now.

    Daniel Fox

Is he still utterly incapable of making a tackle though?
  8. Said something along those lines during the Man U 0-0. Don't worry I acknowledge mine, I literally couldn't watch today - just listened on the radio and nearly had a breakdown via the medium of sound alone.
  9. Some of us aren't strong enough to watch football
  10. Nah. Convinced there isn't. Massive relief to win obvs, but that's exactly how it felt after Everton.
  11. Adrian Durham (who is a complete and utter ***t fwiw) wasn't too impressed.
  12. Pellegrino showing some balls at last? That is more or less our strongest available line up IMHO (depending on Carillo being better than Long or Gabbi which, let's face it, is not asking a whole lot based on this season alone).
  13. An intriguingly positive post considering the source, fella. I know what you mean but the problem is winning this Grade-A bona-fide 6 pointer may keep our Grade-Z 1 star manager in a job until it really, definitely is too late (which it may well be already).
  14. WTF are you going on about? So we're all supposed to sit tight lipped and not post any opinions on the fact we have the most useless excuse for a manager conceivable who is taking the club we all love down the ****ter because it might upset him?
  15. For the first time ever in all my years as a supporter I'm not sure I want us to to win. I'm praying the decision's been made already, a replacement has been lined up and he's gone regardless of the result and if so obviously I desperately want us to win. BUT If a loss tomorrow is the only thing that guarantees he's sacked I think I'd have to take it.

  17. Thank you Mauricio for allowing me to appreciate there is such a thing as a worse manager of a football club than Steve Wigley.
  18. I find it impossible see his face or hear his voice without starting to feel angry. He has this whole “oh well, what can you do” attitude.
  19. We could EASILY attract a new manager, just offer a decent incentive/bonus - 2 million? - to keep us up. I’m sure Silva (for example) would see that as a low risk lucrative way of enhancing his reputation.
  20. Bewildered
  21. Ok mate. I think it would be more likely that we’d be more likely to stay up if we sacked MP and appointed Silva although I acknowledge this is not definitely the case because it has not actually happened. I’ve enjoyed our little ‘debate’ anyway. I think.
  22. No, that is not an answer to the question. It probably won’t happen but IF we sacked MP and appointed Silva would it be more likely to be successful than keeping MP on in your opinion?
  23. Just because something is unlikely to/won’t happen or the answer is not definitely known doesn’t mean you can’t offer an opinion on it.
